Nicola and Paolo were very friendly and helpful from before we went on holiday until the end. The house has a real stone pizza oven, large barbecue and large swimming pool. which we have used a lot.
We were with children and grandchildren. one family upstairs, one family downstairs and us in the outbuilding. It's ideal that you can also be with each other for a while if you want to.

We definitely plan to come back again.

What a great house. In a few key words: tranquility, luxury, complete, secluded yet easily accessible, hospitable, very friendly owner, perfect swimming pool. We stayed here with 3 young children in August 2019. Received on arrival by a good friend of the owner, very friendly man who, together with his wife, made us feel immediately 'at home'. He was our first point of contact (speaks good English) but in the end we also had very nice app contact with the owner. In short, with questions (there happened to be a malfunction in the water supply in the nearby village) we could go directly and easily to both. The house is beautiful and very pleasant thanks to climate control. It is decorated with great taste. Modern luxury is combined with authentic, more classic details and art. The kitchen is sufficiently complete to be able to cook well. There is a dishwasher, good stove and plenty of crockery. There is a beautiful pizza oven and we were allowed to use unlimited wood. As a result, we were able to bake delicious pizzas! The pool is blissful. For young children and fine roman staircase. Lovely beds and beautiful large umbrellas. There are two friendly horses, our daughter was able to pet them just fine, they were patient with her and walked away quietly when they were done with it. We had enough on the ground floor, but we were also allowed to take a look upstairs. Also beautiful, a little more modern and sleek than downstairs. Beautiful living room, spacious and bright!
There is a lovely veranda. There are some 'neighbors', not even far away, but the location of all houses is so free that you don't see each other and can hear each other every now and then but have absolutely no nuisance from each other.
Are there any tips? Yes... Buy good mosquito repellent, then you can also enjoy the evening outside ;-)
Are there any downsides? Not for us, but to be honest, it's fair to say that the bathrooms could be called a bit simple. There are good showers (2), toilets (2) and good sinks so nothing to complain about, but the rest of the house is so beautiful that they fall away a bit due to sobriety. Does it deserve a points deduction, no not for us.

We had a fantastic time the first week with our children and then with friends. We felt right at home thanks to the hospitable Paolo and Lucia. We think this Il Casale delle Rose is a little paradise in a very beautiful setting!
