A very beautiful location, a breathtaking view! We enjoyed the tranquility, beautiful, beautiful surroundings and a super pool ! Zaaaalig ! All facilities are available and in case of questions or such, we always act quickly. Owners are very nice people and nothing is too much. We hope to go there again in the future.

Lovely place. Especially the outdoor space is really fantastic. NIcola does everything it can to make your stay enjoyable.

The house itself is a bit outdated, but it is equipped with all (and I mean all) conveniences. There was a food processor, blender, coffee frother, dishwasher, washing machine, and I could go on and on. Cots were neatly prepared.

A 5-minute drive away is a cheap and large supermarket but otherwise there is little in the area. Ideal for unwinding.

We had a great week in Cala Sabina. What a beautiful place, with fantastic views of the Tarano valley and of the mountains and villages a few kilometers away. The pool is very nice, you can dive well. In the beautiful garden there are a number of places where you can sit, laze around, dine, etc. Inside, too, everything is well organized, the beds are nice and the kitchen is well equipped. We were two families and also made use of the apartment one floor below, which also opens onto the sloping garden.
Cala Sabina also has an olive grove, and a vegetable garden with tomatoes, zucchini, etc., which you can pick yourself as a guest.
There is plenty to do in the area. We have been to Orvieto, Spoleto, Tivoli and Rome, all 45 to 60 minutes away.
Nicola and her Italian husband Andrea are very hospitable, know a lot about Italy, and Rome in particular. The highlight for us was the Pizza night, where we learned to bake the most fantastic pizzas in the wood-fired oven by the pool, based on the tips from Nicola and Andrea.
In short, it is difficult to say goodbye to Cala Sabina, so we recommend this location for the full 100%.

Heerlije place to unwind. We very much enjoyed the house, the pool and the beautiful surroundings. The landlord is very nice and responds quickly to questions. In short, a very relaxing holiday! With nice eateries a short distance away and Rome within an hour's drive.

We were there for two weeks in July and that was still too short. The house itself is very well cared for and nice and fresh due to the air conditioning. The view (and the large garden) is fantastic and the large swimming pool...

We were there for two weeks in July and that was still too short. The house itself is very well cared for and nice and fresh due to the air conditioning. The view (and the large garden) is fantastic and the large swimming pool is perfect in temperature. There are many restaurants nearby and Rome is less than an hour's drive away. We made three day trips there and still we haven't seen much yet. Nicola also makes sure that everything is in order.

The numbers are not exaggerated. It was just great. Magnificent views. The owners Nicola and Andrea were very welcoming. Tea, coffee, dishwashing liquid, sugar, salt/pepper, etc: all provided. As well as a bottle of olive oil from our own garden. Hygiene a 7 because 1x week the owner is best allowed to take care of a cleaning., including change of towels. The latter was possible for us in the available washing machine. There was Child-friendliness a 7 because there was only a (lovely) swimming pool (with outdoor shower); No problem for us. Nice sun loungers available as well as beach towels. Baby cots and high chairs available on request. 3 bathrooms. We were 5 adults and 2 babies; Only an hour's drive from Rome Ciampino. Supermarket nearby as well as nice restaurants and local bar. Nice trips within reasonable distance; e.g. Rome and Orvieto.

We have been going to Italy with the family for years, and this is really a prime location with an extremely comfortable house, a spacious swimming pool and beautifully landscaped garden. On the one hand, the tranquility and charm of the Sabina, on the other hand, the accessibility of larger cities, with Rome within the hour. And last but not least, the warm welcome by Nicola and Andrea. In short, una meravigliosa vacanza.

At the beginning of June we had an incredibly nice holiday in Tarano! The house was lovely, clean and was fully equipped. We spent most of our time outside by the pool. Fantastic large swimming pool where the kids and of course we spent many hours. Then the view! Insane! Every morning in peace and quiet (kids had Netflix ☺️) with a cup of coffee outside, enjoying the view, really waking up, that's the ultimate holiday feeling!
If you prefer not to sit by the pool, there are still plenty of sights to visit such as Orvieto and beautiful waterfalls. Nicola can tell you enough about this. But believe me, once you've experienced Cala Sabina, you won't want to leave.
Furthermore, you have plenty of facilities to do your shopping and a bakery nearby for fresh rolls.
Tip - definitely go to restaurant Da Lina and then just choose the local wine, delicious.
