The holiday home is fine, everything is there, kitchen is very complete, otherwise sufficiently spacious. Clean towels, bed linen, etc. were also super arranged. The owner Benno is very friendly and can tell you a lot about the area and history. The house is located in a quiet village, there is a supermarket and a bakery, for the rest you have to go to 1 of the surrounding places. The surroundings are very beautiful, from the village you can drive within 2 minutes in the wooded area. It is also possible to walk up the mountain from the house and see everything from above. We had a nice holiday and will definitely recommend this to friends and acquaintances.

Beds ready to dive into :), towel package available, fully equipped kitchen with all conveniences including some handy consumables. Ditto for the bathroom. And always easy: In the house there are also the necessary holiday brochures about the area (although there is also a tourist information in the same street).
Upon arrival, the landlord will show you around the house and its surroundings and is always ready for a chat.
We came with 3 (almost) adult children. Big advantage of the house: 3! Bedrooms.
(PS We were in the "mayor's house" on the 1st floor.)
In the Harz there is of course a lot to see/visit and the church at the top of the street from the holiday home is definitely worth a visit.
In short, this house as a starting point for a holiday in the Harz is ideal.
Small downside: no private parking spaces, so cars usually have to be parked in the (through) street.

We had a fantastic holiday! The house was fully equipped, 2 large bedrooms with TV, spacious living room with TV. Nice kitchen with oven, coffee maker and kettle. Outside you can sit both in front of and behind the house.

You can always reach the owner and is there for you!
In wildemann itself a supermarket and a bakery! In addition, a beautiful outdoor swimming pool, all within walking distance.
Opposite the altes rathaus is a lovely restaurant! Really worth going to eat!
Nice hiking area, lots of choice in walks! Good signage and plenty of benches along the way!
Along the way you will encounter cyclists, I myself would not like to cycle on public roads because of the car speeds. There are cycling opportunities in the woods.
In terms of food and drinks, plenty of places in the area and very affordable.
We had a wonderful holiday and may come back in a few years
