Hoeve De Poorter Hage is a realization of the Till family Waelput - Maite Arjona. The buildings were purchased in 2010 could be opened the doors in 2014 after extensive renovations and remodeling. Previously, the farm was owned by the family Verdonck. The houses are in the barn from 1871 and a part of the 18th century (or earlier?) Farm. The barn that was demolished was built in the 18th century farmhouse in 1973 to get back to justice to the original house. The attractive decor and furnishings was done with the help of Stefaan Lagrou of the decoration company Reygerlo from Beernem. Hage Poorter is a medieval word meaning "citizen of a city that lives there outside" and is a nod to ourselves. Because we lived for years in Bruges where we first hotel Botaniek then hotel Jan Brito were operating.

A great location to stay - convenient to the culture cities - and culinary pleasures. Very well cared for house . And very friendly and hospitable landlords
We were 2 older couples. At first, the rented property looked on the small side, but you get used to it quickly. The cottage was nice and warm and the amenities fine. A friendly welcome in a quiet environment.
