The first impression is one you can't repeat. And unfortunately, our first impression of Casa felisole was not good. On arrival it was not clean in the house. The seams between counter and wall were full of dirt, mold in the shower cubicle downstairs, a whole family of spiders camped in the living room and it didn't stop there. Immediately contacted the landlord and it was agreed that the cleaning would be done again the next morning. And that is exactly what happened. However, during the stay, more and more things stood out that show that the cleaning and therefore the hygiene leaves much to be desired. Children's pacifier in the bedroom, caked-on toothpaste residue in the cups, dirty pans in the cupboards and I could go on and on. We have also indicated this to the landlord. As a result, communication became increasingly difficult. This was also evident from the reaction to our forced departure of 1 day earlier than booked. The cancellation conditions are clear, but after all the hassle and dirt in the house, a more accommodating response would have been more customer-friendly.
All this has cast a shadow over our stay. And when you have to leave money for cleaning when you leave, it feels sour, to say the least.

Admittedly, the place is fantastic! Great view over the lake and the space in and around the house is very nice.

With a little more love and attention to the house and hygiene, casa felisole is a nice place to spend your holiday.

What a wonderful holiday we had at Villa Felisole! The property certainly met our expectations. In fact, we were pleasantly surprised: the house turned out to be larger (especially the living room) than the photos made it seem. Furthermore, the bedrooms were nice and large and there were plenty of fans. That was not necessary for the coolness (the house is nice and cool), but for the mosquitoes that are always present in Italy, they are very nice.

The house is very spacious and certainly big enough for two families. The pool is lovely and we were able to sit outside every evening to enjoy the view. What we did miss based on other houses we have rented is a lawn where the children could have run / play football. There is some room for that, but not very much. In that respect, the photos speak for themselves.

The location is also fine, although you have to drive a bit further if you want to visit larger places, but you know that in advance when booking. In addition, there are also more than enough nice towns to visit around Lake Trasimeno itself. You won't be bothered by the neighbors here either. There is plenty of privacy.

The contact with the owner has also been very good. Quick answers to e-mails, also available by phone, indication of contacts in case of absence and clear agreements.

In short: definitely recommended!

We really had a super nice holiday, with our children of 12 and 16 years old, the cottage is nice and spacious all private rooms, and nice kitchen with all the trimmings, nice swimming pool to cool off. Also places to sit in the shade but also in the sun! You also have this in the pool! In the sun or in the shade, private parking that is also great! And everything is well closed behind an electric gate, mosquito nets everywhere, so that's great! Because we did, a lot of mosquitoes, but I think that was because the lake was so low... We had our dogs with us, and they are very popular with the population! Were allowed to go everywhere, there is also plenty to do, boat rental (not expensive) nice bars downstairs and restaurants, a climb.. We didn't mind, we took the dogs for a walk down through the center every morning, had coffee at the lake and then went up again from the other side! But of course this can also be done by car, upstairs there is also a super nice and tasty restaurant, you can walk there in no time, there are also plenty of supermarkets, in short, we had a really nice holiday! Top house! Really relaxed!

What a beautiful location. The house is fantastic, such an equipped kitchen is something you rarely come across in Italy. Hiking trails are right at home.

There was so much to see in the region, that 14 days was not enough.
I definitely recommend this cottage to friends.

We had a wonderful holiday in Casa Felisole, nice spacious house, good beds, nice clean swimming pool (large part of the day in the shade but high summer is absolutely not annoying). Only the cleaning on arrival could have been better in our opinion. The view from the terrace of the sun setting over the lake is amazing. Plenty to do and see in the region.
