Wonderful Villa. Great location. Could do with a couple more umbrellas for shade around the pool. The fridge could be updated - the cooker hobs needs repairing - not all of them work - but apart from that a fantastic place. We will certainly look to come back.

The quinta is a very comfortable house where everything is there for a top holiday. The view is breathtaking with a wide view over the village and the sea. What we missed are enough umbrellas and mobile parasol bases so that you can lie in the shade by the pool. Keep in mind that you have to throw the toilet paper in the trash.

We enjoyed our stay very much and if we go to Faro again, we will definitely come back here.
- We were there with our children of 4 and 1.5 years old and the house lends itself very well to that. Martien had arranged a high chair and cot for us, which was very nice.
- House was really spotless.
- Equipped with all facilities and kitchen with all kinds of basic supplies.
- Location is perfect, with a nice view towards the sea.
- In other reviews we read that people found the way to the house a challenge. We thought it was fine to do: the road is unpaved, but goes well with a (low rental) car.
- Bakery is a 5-minute drive or a 15-minute walk (which we did in the morning). In Moncarapacho there is a good sized supermarket with all the groceries you need.
- Martien has been very helpful and was very easy to reach if we had any questions.
- We had a great time!

Lovely spacious house with plenty of privacy for the whole family. Location on a hill but close to the village is wonderfully quiet, yet not isolated. The road to the house is 'a bit of a swallow' if you are used to the Dutch roads but doable. Pool is lovely and the view from the house, garden and pool on the surroundings is beautiful. We had nice clear weather and could even see far out on the sea. The service and friendliness of the landlord is very good: we were delayed and we were offered that the landlord could do some shopping so that we could make something to eat on arrival (eventually around half past 12 in the night). There is also a nice welcome package for breakfast the next morning. And we were surprised with some delicious Portuguese cakes when it was someone's birthday during the holidays. We felt more than welcome in the house.
Furthermore, the surroundings are also lovely. Not extremely busy even in high season. Plenty to do and something for everyone. Especially the first week it was extremely hot (also for Portugal) so we mainly stayed in the area, but there are plenty of nice and beautiful towns by the sea where you can grab a terrace and walk along the boulevard. And Ria Formosa is a lovely area to spend some time if you love nature.

After the last 500 meters on a "goat path" you arrive at this lovely house with a nice swimming pool and terrace. We really enjoyed the space, tranquility and above all beautiful views. Recommended!
