Nice swimming spot in one kilometer. Very quiet. However, it must be said that the landlord was away with his dogs - dog lovers are certainly not bothered by this. The stove tops are very slow (only 230 V) and are already getting on in years. A kettle would also be good. We might have wished for comfortable garden chairs and a barbecue. The wifi only works very close to the owner (not at all in the second week) and 4G was not constantly available either. If you can live with all these little things, you will be able to spend a nice holiday here. Excursion destinations within easy reach. The moose park is recommended. Furthermore, the paved super bike path (90 km) between Uddeholm and Karlstad (Klarelvsbanan). We drove it between Råda and Höje. For me as a hobby baker, the absolute recommendation: the wood-fired bakery in Höje!!! The cinnamon buns are delicious and if you don't like the normal Swedish bread from the supermarket, you'll get your money's worth here. chanterelles and blueberries galore.

Wij hebben een fantastische vakantie gehad, mede dankzij Baukje en Menno's gastvrijheid en hun tips voor activiteiten. Wij komen zeker terug in de toekomst. Huisje voldoet volkomen aan de verwachtingen. In de drie weken dat wij hier verbleven hebben we de deur niet één keer op slot gehad. Onze twee honden hebben de tijd van hun leven gehad in de grote maar omheinde tuin. Als wij weg waren konden zij zich gewoon vermaken in de tuin en als het te warm werd of begon te regenen konden zij naar binnen. De deur kon gewoon open blijven staan. Ook fijn waren het privé strandje aan het meer en de roeiboot.
