We had a nice stay at Villa Santiago. Nice to cool off in the pool after a hot day (38 to 40 degrees!).
What was missing was internet (Wi-Fi), we had to get used to that of course, because we do everything via the internet these days. On the other hand, it was good, we spend a little less time on our phones and other devices and we enjoy more of what was there.
I think it would also be nicer if there was a kettle and a vacuum cleaner. My son has a dust mite allergy and I had forgotten our petty thief. It would be nice if I could vacuum daily instead of sweeping the whole house with a broom. For the rest, we made do with what we had and we succeeded.
Because there was not always good coverage, it was difficult to reach the Roosen family by phone. We also received a response later on the Whatsapp, while sometimes we need an immediate response. Perhaps a tip to consult Whatsapp messages more often, since this is a widely used means of communication.
All in all it is a very nice holiday home! I would recommend it to anyone who loves simplicity, tranquility and nature.
