This apartment on the ground floor is located in a residence in st cyprien plage, about 800 meters from the beach and the center. It is located on a large golf course, which makes a spacious and green impression. The apartment has everything you need and more. An absolute plus were the four bikes that we used a lot. We found walking to the beach too far, we also cycled to other parts of the beach. We also liked the two bathrooms and two toilets. It was wonderfully quiet in the complex, especially after 22:00 in the evening. The part of the complex where we were located is square-shaped around the swimming pool. We sat by the pool, separated by a wooden fence. As a result, you have a lot of privacy on your terrace, but you also partly look at that brown fence, which gives a certain seclusion. Partly, because there are two beautiful trees on the terrace that provide the necessary greenery and shade. We found less that there was no air conditioning (there are fans which is reasonable), no wifi (bought an extra bundle from our own NL provider) and that the children's bedroom is without windows and a bit stuffy. As far as we are concerned, the bathrooms could use an update. We had a wonderful time here.
About St Cyprien Plage: we have never visited this side of the Mediterranean before. Here are beautiful long sandy beaches with lovely water, without annoying ugly high-rise buildings (as is often the case in Spain). There are a few nice beach clubs. The town itself is not beautiful but cozy and with all necessary amenities. There is nature, culture, beach & sea, we had delicious food, cycling, day trip to Spain, boat trip, Perpignan, Collioure was fun, there are all kinds of fun parks for the children, rafting and canyoning is possible, it is a good holiday location for families. That's why it's busy there, but we didn't have much trouble with that, not even on the beach because the beaches are so extensive.

Dear Astrid, thank you for the comprehensive review of your holiday. Good to hear that the extras such as the 4 bicycles, in addition to the garden with lots of privacy and the good bed mattresses have been fine. The secluded garden and terrace provide a lot of peace and space in the green surroundings. Indeed, we continue to invest in the apartment and every year we tackle a new job to be able to pamper the guests even more. After adding the washing machine this year, the installation of an air conditioner in the entire apartment is on the list for 2019. In the summer, it is even more pleasant to sleep in warm weather. Developments around Wi-Fi are moving at lightning speed, but less so in France. Installing a fixed line for Wi-Fi turned out to be prohibitively expensive, 18,000 euros. The solution is being worked on with the joint owners. We also have plans for the two bathrooms that were built in 2006. We want to renovate a bathroom to a shower with sink so that we can offer both a bathroom with a bath and a shower. Guests should of course be pampered as much as possible and it won't be up to us.
