The house Teegelgard is a real Swedish wooden house that has been built and furnished very thoughtfully. Everything is very clean and clearly ordered but made cozy with love, which made us feel right at home. Good mattresses and clean. Very nice massage shower and the fireplace on both sides, on veranda and inside, is super! You can pick fruit in the garden. We really liked the location, the space next to and in front of the house, where you look out on a meadow with wild flowers and a farm. It is not too quiet, there are still a few houses on the street so that feels safe. The silence is wonderful. The area is easy to explore. Tips are the lakes to always take a dip in, the walk on the islands (with beaches) in the Vattern lake off the coast of Kristinehamn (a ferry goes there). Church of Karlsgoga, beautiful to see and there are also church services. You can rent a canoe and have a picnic on an island in Storfors or Kristinehamn, for example. On our outward journey we saw a moose up close. We also spotted a lot of deer, wild swans and cranes. We had a fantastic holiday where Teegelgard was really very practical, beautiful and cozy to stay. We really felt in Sweden. The children (7 and 9) also felt very good here.
