Beautiful house and fully equipped. Great base for making beautiful walks. You can leave the car at home. The house is located directly along some hiking trails.

Been for the second time. A lovely house in a beautiful setting. The fenced garden is perfect for families with young children. Life takes place at the large table in the lovely conservatory. Enjoy!

Had a wonderful week in this beautifully located house. Owners very friendly and relax in contact. The view is breathtaking from the nice sun loungers in the garden with a nice glass of wine or good food at the large table in the garden room. There are many hikes in the immediate vicinity and it is centrally located for trips to Zermatt, Aletsch Glacier etc. If I have to mention 1 small point, it is the (for us) small sleeping loft. My children thought that was a bit too cramped/exciting, so they had to share the same room. But given the size of this bedroom and single beds, that wasn't a problem. The house is - especially given the price-quality ratio and the brilliant location - highly recommended!

House is nicely situated. Although the cottage is a bit dark, the garden room more than makes up for it. What a fantastic view. Several beautiful walks start directly from the house, for example along the old water pipe and back via the tunnel (1600 meters long in the dark), makes it even more exciting. We also went to the Aletsch glacier, which is highly recommended. Overall we had a great time in Eggen.

You immediately feel right at home. Everything was great, cared for and welcoming. A very nice area for a lovely walk!

Had a great holiday, super place, nice house, only the kitchen utensils need to be replaced, pans, plates, oven, etc
Other than that, it was highly recommended!!

You are really in the middle of Switzerland, from your front door you can already take nice walks. Funny restaurant just a stone's throw away.
Lovely well-organized garden. That sauna was also blissful!
Something to think about: there are two possible routes up the mountain by car... the easy one and a more authentic one. The authentic one requires a little more agility, steering skills and perhaps also a little more courage. The easy route follows the bus route.

Baltschieder Blick is a beautiful old house with a modern, spacious extension. The location at about 1200 meters is phenomenal, with a view into the Baltschiederdal as well as tens of kilometers deep into the Rhone Valley. We were there in the second half of June with beautiful weather so that the snowy peaks of the highest Alpine giants were always clearly visible. Directly behind the house is a hiking trail to the Baltschiederdal. An absolute must to take that walk. Insanely beautiful, although the narrow, largely horizontal path leads here and there along dangerous abysses.
The house is equipped with quite a few comforts. Unfortunately, the instructions of some of those conveniences were missing. To get the TV (with all Dutch channels) and wifi to work, we had to contact the owners in the Netherlands. By the way, they helped us quickly and effectively. Unfortunately, we couldn't get the washing machine and sauna to work. We left it that way. The house has upstairs neighbors, but they are older people who don't bother you a bit.
