We have been in Villa Pelagia for eleven days. It is a nice clean house that meets all wishes. Good inventory/cozy furnishings/already a number of items are present that are useful (such as toilet paper, detergent, sugar, salt, water, soap, garbage bags etc etc.) You don't end up in a bare house, the practical things are ready. That was nice.
There are TV channels and there is a play station and a blue ray player. There are also board games available and many booklets with information about trips in Crete. We found that very nice and useful.
The house is located on a cul-de-sac and therefore there is rarely any traffic. It is a quiet area except for the barking of dogs (they are also quite active at night).
The pool has a lovely temperature and is kept clean and checked 2x a week. Four of us in the pool at the same time is a bit tight but doable. It is wonderful to step into your "own" swimming pool in your garden.
You can make trips from Loutra (where villa Pelagia is located);
Places like Rethymnon and Chania are nice to visit.
We walked the Mili gorge with the two children. Very nice. With streams and some climbing and descending.
At the house is restaurant Hovoli, this was a cozy/cheap/nice restaurant. Highly recommended.
We enjoyed it. We can definitely recommend the house!!
