We have just returned from a wonderful holiday! The great farmhouse is fully equipped. The location is a true oasis of peace and privacy, the swimming pool is lovely and you can relax on the veranda while enjoying a glass and the bbq. Communication with the owner is more than good. The terrace and the garden with the pool are great! It was very nice to spend the summer sunny days in the beautiful garden, by the pool, on the terrace! We really relaxed and felt comfortable! However, the caretakers had forgotten that we were coming and were not prepared when we arrived. They cleaned the house very quickly and were very friendly, but especially the front house was not properly cleaned when our friends came to move into the front house. In general, the hygiene, the furnishings and the condition of the interiors were not so good. In particular, the equipment of the kitchen in the front building is inadequate. It is moldy in the bathroom, in the front building. The mattresses and bedding are no longer in good condition. In the rear building, the patio door no longer closes properly. It would be good if this beautiful, old farmhouse was better maintained and furnished.

Prior to our holiday, the owner sent us extensive information about the house, the various facilities and the area via several emails.
We enjoyed the size of the house, the space of the garden, the tranquility and the well-kept pool. With the summer temperatures, we have made frequent use of the swimming pool.
During our stay, however, a large part of the garden furniture turned out to be in deplorable condition and therefore unusable.
Furthermore, there were various other defects, such as in the bathroom (shower head, defective fan, loose toilet seat).
Upon arrival, there was a puddle of water on the kitchen floor, which grew larger despite several mops. The cause of this turned out to be not properly connected piping.
As a result, on the third day of our stay after an outing, the kitchen annex living room was flooded.
The flow of water was unstoppable.
After help from neighbors in finding and shutting off the main tap, two hours of hoisting and mopping and thanks to a helpful Gisella, the local plumber fortunately solved the problem.
We have informed the owner about this by e-mail, but have not received a response to this to date.
