Stayed a week with our family at Villa Tusculanum. Special house with beautiful high windows making the living room very nice and light. The house gives a bit of a messy impression, there are a lot of things downstairs, which makes it very cozy, but also offers little space for things that you bring yourself. When you arrive, the first thing you see is a front yard full of roof tiles and building materials. It is clearly still under construction. Upstairs everything is neat with large bedrooms. The house is wonderfully quiet in a place that reflects the contrasts of the village of Wijk aan Zee, on one side of the house you have a beautiful view of the dunes and on the other side you look out on a quiet campsite and the towers of Tata steel. What we liked best was that you literally walk from the front garden into the beautiful dune area. (Just buy an entrance ticket online or at the vending machine) Furthermore, there is a lot of inventory so you lack nothing, also a nice large washing machine and dryer, so all in all we had a comfortable week in this characteristic holiday home!

Lovely spacious house with all the facilities you may need (and more). Nice sheltered terrace where you can enjoy the sun. Within walking distance of the beautiful beach and the cozy beach bars. What more could you want!

With the children I did a week of lockdown survival in Tusculanum. Stormy outside, cozy and warm inside. It is an attractive house with authentic details. We got a breath of fresh air and enjoyed each other, the dunes, the beach and the sea. The reception was fine, booking went smoothly. Thank you Theo and Alexandra!

We are a family with 3 children and had a wonderful time at Villa Tusculanum. The house is beautifully renovated and very lovingly furnished. The contact with the landlady was very uncomplicated. On site, Theo was our contact person, he was very nice and very helpful. He reacted quickly to questions. The house offers enough space to relax, cook, watch TV, sit in the garden, ect.. The proximity to the beach is also great (about 10-15 minutes walk). We felt very comfortable and would book again at any time.

House plus outdoor spaces were even bigger than expected. Lots of characteristic features (high ceilings, hidden cupboards everywhere, a bit old-fashioned but that's why it's fun). Less suitable if you have difficulty walking due to steep stairs to the top and steps up and down. Nice shower. Beach entrance, dune area, shop a short distance away.
We had great beach weather but also a very suitable house in less sunny weather (TV and Wi-Fi, two large lazy sofas, lots of books and corners to read and nice beds).

Had a wonderful week with the kids. It's nice that the backyard is completely enclosed, so they could play just fine.
