Great house in a wonderfully quiet area. ( Beautiful rolling landscape ). Cozy large kitchen and nice bright living room. Everything is there, except a TV. We had already put some movies on the laptop at home for the evenings, super cozy. Garden is very large, you can sit everywhere in both the sun and shade. From the house you can take lovely walks between the meadows.
We have been 1 week and have visited Laon and Soissons at about 30 min drive. At 10 minutes there is the museum La Caverne du Dragon about the 1st world war. Unfortunately, it was closed for renovation. Fort Conde from 1880 is a 20-minute drive away, well worth it.
A little further 1 hour drive Pierrefonds castle, very beautiful. And at 1:15 hours drive castle Chantilly, you must have seen, well worth it.
In case of bad weather, it is fun for children to go swimming for a day at the nearby centre-parks (note that it is very expensive, we spent 85 euros for 4 people).

It was a wonderful week! Enjoyed the garden, the beautiful surroundings (great for endless walks), the nice music from the record player and the fresh croissants that hung on the fence in the morning (for which you hung the order on a note on the fence in the evening, where does that still happen?!). Laon is a beautiful little town to walk through and have a good dinner in the evening and enjoy the beautiful church. Reims is a fantastic city about a 45 minute drive away. The house is highly recommended if you are looking for peace and quiet in a beautiful area and not too far from NL.

Very nice house, beautiful spacious garden, several terraces to sit in the garden, lots of (sleeping) space, nice record collection, etc. The only downside: you are quite remote (for some this is a disadvantage, for others an advantage, but at least keep it in mind). The surroundings are beautiful and with Soissoins, Laon and Reims there are plenty of nice cities to visit. And the contact with the landlords was very pleasant!

Had a wonderful holiday in Les deux Pins. The house is very quiet so we could relax. There were toys for the little girl and especially the swing was very popular, as well as the hammock in the garden. The garden is nice and big and our daughter was able to run around and play in it. Furthermore, everything is present in the house. A great place for those seeking peace and quiet! And... Perfect for kids! Inside cots, stair gate, toys and table chair available. Outside a beautiful, enclosed garden with playground equipment. We enjoyed it!

We had a wonderful week despite the rain and wind. The cottage is fully equipped. Enjoyed the LPs. Despite the weather, we were able to light a campfire once in a while (and then you hear owls in the distance). The baker who comes by is also very nice. There are plenty of things to do in the area. You can walk, visit towns and we have been in Paris for 1 day, which is also doable. You don't need to bring any toys or games because there is plenty.

Lovely house with super garden. A nice place to unwind. Beautiful rural setting with rolling wheat fields. There are plenty of opportunities to take walks and visit nice towns in the area. We had a great time here.

Les deux Pins is a nice, comfortable, complete house with a lovely garden. We felt right at home. Surprising to us was the beautiful surroundings with the endlessly sloping grain fields and the multitude of impressive churches,...

Les deux Pins is a nice, comfortable, complete house with a lovely garden. We felt right at home. Surprising to us was the beautiful surroundings with the endlessly sloping grain fields and the multitude of impressive churches, castles, abbeys or no less impressive ruins and friendly villages. Lovely scenery to drive around and walk in relaxed. We also enjoyed the beautiful city of Laon. We didn't even get to Reims, the city we had on our list. Next time!
