We had a wonderful holiday at Le Carrefour. It gives a special touch to your holiday to stay in a farmhouse from 1717. Of course, you notice that you are in an old house by some things, but we didn't mind. Everything you need, also in terms of equipment in the kitchen, is provided. The sanitary facilities are neat and clean.
The pool is of course fantastic, nice and big, and beautiful views over the landscape behind the farm.
We were there with four children between the ages of 6 and 13. With very small children, it can be a disadvantage that you have to climb a somewhat awkward staircase to get in, and that the pool is behind the house. You don't have a view of it from the house. This was not a problem for the age of our children, and in addition to the swimming pool, they also enjoyed themselves with the table tennis table and other attributes in the large play barn.
We made trips to Rocamadour and the birds of prey park. to Loubressac and Autoire.
Carennac and the swimming pool nearby on the other side of the river is also highly recommended. Fun slides.
Figeac we also liked very much, as well as the castle Castelnau-Bretenoux.
In short, plenty to do within an hour's driving distance.
