The house is in a beautiful, quiet place yet within fifteen minutes of airport, beaches and large city of Loulé and Faro. The pool is blissful. The verandas are lovely, plenty of shade, the dining area between kitchen and living room is very cozy and the whole house exudes cosiness and atmosphere. It's not sleek but atmospheric, BLISSFUL!

We had a fantastic experience from start to finish! The contacts with Patricia beforehand were good and accessible. The photos and text on Micazu are completely in line with reality. Friendly welcome after arrival and accessibility during our stay from hostess Helena. Everything was clean and in the kitchen we found a fine selection of herbs and oil/vinegar etc, under the motto "supplement what you have used". The peace and privacy in Casa Figueira were beneficial. We can recommend it to everyone: a nice, attractive house in a beautiful place where even in the absence of the owners is well taken care of by the hostess, the "pool man", the technical maintenance man and gardeners.

We had booked this house well in advance. To our surprise, 2 weeks before the start of the rental period, a message came from the owner, that she was cancelling the booking, for a reason that was not in the rental contract, nor...

We had booked this house well in advance. To our surprise, 2 weeks before the start of the rental period, a message came from the owner, that she was cancelling the booking, for a reason that was not in the rental contract, nor had it been communicated with us before, and without offering an alternative accommodation.
That meant that we had to try to find other accommodation ourselves for exactly the same period.
In short, perhaps a nice house, but in our experience definitely not recommended for those who want to book a carefree holiday.
