Fantastic house in a fantastic place. Peace, space, conviviality. The house is beautiful. Enjoy walking and canoeing in the immediate vicinity, where you can roam endlessly without meeting other people. A splash in the lake. In the evening a drive around to see moose.
The house is fully equipped. Large and yet very cozy, with no less than four (!) different sitting areas (kitchen, pantry, sitting room downstairs, sitting room upstairs), three of which have a stove/fireplace. Also outside a fantastic fire pit on the shore of the lake. That Bob Ross-like lake right behind the house, which looks a little different every five minutes...
Moose, roe deer, foxes, badgers, squirrels and pine martens live in the immediate vicinity. This time we saw a pine marten while we were sitting on the porch; On a previous visit, we saw a moose walking between the house and the lake from the kitchen. Also lots of beautiful birds. Woodcock, capercaillie, pearl diver, and so on. And the knowledge that you are in the middle of the habitat of wolves, lynxes and wolverines, where the occasional bear also roams.
In short, highly recommended for nature lovers, peace seekers, or for those who just really want to get away from it all.
