The communication with the owner was superb! Follow the owner's directions, through the mountains, you'll be so used to it. Frequently visited, within driving distance, in the area!

A fantastic house with all the comforts. The view is breathtaking. The last 8km to the house is winding up & down against the mountainside. Tip: SUV and no fear of heights. The pool is luxurious, plenty of sun. Heating pool is via heatpump which works on solar panels, i.e. late season with less sun is colder pool.

The only downside we found was the winding, sometimes steep and narrow road.

Fantastic house in a lovely very quiet place. Road to it is steep and very bumpy so rent a decent car. View is grandiose and completely unobstructed. Beautiful, cozy furnished house with three good bedrooms (nice beds, good linen) and shutters everywhere so the house stays reasonably cool. Kitchen very nice with a very extensive inventory. You really don't miss anything. Full bookcases, games, beach towels. House fine, clean and cared for. Pool is large and the view is priceless when you look over the edge. The house is fairly secluded so you are not just on the boulevard or in a restaurant. No problem for us, but be aware of this. Contact with the owner fantastic. Responded quickly and very kindly to our questions. Very suitable for a family holiday and we enjoyed this beautiful place immensely.

We had a wonderful holiday in El Ancla at the beginning of October. We were 3 couples with 3 babies (5 months, 11 months and 16 months old). The house is very spacious, clean, comfortable, fully furnished and fully equipped. Nice beds. Plenty of shade for the babies. Pool clean and good temperature. The view is amazing. Contact with owner Jan was pleasant and fast. As far as we are concerned, the only point of attention is accessibility: the road to the house is narrow and steep and it is important to follow Jan's directions and not to rely on the route of Google maps. If you do, it's doable. Had a great holiday, thank you Jan and Petra!

In the period from 11 to 18 August 2018 I rented Villa El Encla. I had already seen great pictures online, but that doesn't do justice to the house, the surroundings and the owners. What a breathtaking view and what a lovely house. It is the ultimate place to unwind. Do you want to go into town? That's fifteen to twenty minutes away by car. In short, perfect location!

Jan is easy to reach and very helpful. The information in advance, the contact during the trip and final information was all perfectly arranged. That's an impressive accomplishment!

The house itself is nicely decorated, comfortable and spacious. There are spacious rooms, lots of outdoor space, a beautiful kitchen and also very clean. Every amenity has been taken into account. Just do some shopping and you're all set for your stay. I recommend everyone to stay at Villa El Ancla. And it also makes for some nice photos!
