We had a fantastic stay at Sonnechalet with our family! We went skiing at Nassfeld and then back to the wood stove in our beautiful complete house where we could bake our own apple strudel in the oven in a nice kitchen with all the necessary kitchen utensils you could desire. Highly recommended for a family with big kids like we have.

The owners of this house are very friendly and helpful. The house is very well maintained, fully furnished and was also very clean. The view of mountains is fantastic. From this comfortable house you can make beautiful trips in and around the beautiful Gailtal. Our children aged 15 and 16 also had a great time in the swimming pool within walking distance. We would love to come back to discover the rest of the area.

The contact with the owner Wim was excellent, from the 1st contact to the return of the deposit, he also provides you with all kinds of information regarding the area and the house. The hiking opportunities are really fantastic and are very soothing. After a day in the mountains, it is wonderful to come home to the fireplace and make plans for the next day. It is also wonderful to explore the area with the bicycles available on site. If you have a bad weather or rain on a day, you can use the wonderful sauna. All in all, we enjoyed a wonderful holiday in this beautiful part of Austria.

To start with, owner Wim is a fantastic guy. From the moment of booking, he took the initiative by sharing all kinds of information, from ski resorts to ins and outs regarding the village of Kotschach. The cottage is top notch! Furnishing is fine and the fireplace and sauna make it complete. Especially the fireplace was very popular with us. All the tools you need are provided, including all kitchen utensils. The ski area in the village is small, sufficient for the novice skiers and small children. Too small for the older children or slightly advanced skiers. Now you have two great ski resorts 20 minutes by car where you can easily ski for a week without getting bored. The route to get there is very easy. There is also a ski bus that takes about 45 minutes. The advantage of this area is that it is also fun for non-skiers. You can walk beautifully and it is very relaxing. Because the village is low-lying, you can quickly have a drink in the garden in your sweater if the sun shines for even a moment. I would definitely like to come back here again, and I can recommend it to everyone!
