Great holiday home with teenagers, given the non-lockability of the pool, I am a bit hesitant for kids without a swimming certificate, supervision is always necessary. Feeding the fish is a feast.
Tips corkscrew was not complete, I missed a colander and a casserole, maybe didn't look closely.

A great house in Paramaribo. There were 4 of us and we enjoyed it. Location outside the center but bike rental/taxi (cheap) and that problem is solved. House above average in terms of luxury for Suriname. Unfortunately, the alarm went off every night (possibly curtains blew in the attic). It's nice that the neighbor is so involved. Of course, you pay a little more for it, but it has been well worth it for us.

In mid-October this year we stayed in Oso Naomi for two weeks. After a long journey we arrived at the house at the beginning of the evening where the female caretaker provided us with a warm and welcome meal and gave us further text and explanation about the house. The house and its surroundings look even better than in the pictures, which is of course pleasant. The house is clean and spacious according to western standards. The smallest bathroom is a bit sloppily finished, which is what you see more often in Suriname, but that doesn't bother you. For those who like a firm bed, these are fine and the rooms are equipped with a well-functioning air conditioning. Also, the security company across the street from the house gives a reassuring feeling and they are within seconds if, for example, you (like us) accidentally set off the alarm.

The house has a large and well-maintained swimming pool. The garden is very deep, but you hardly walk there because there is no path and you simply have little to look for. On the large covered terrace is a long table with enough chairs so you can sit outside until the late hours and enjoy the surroundings. The pond with cage carp is also beautiful to see.

On the property next to the house lives the extremely friendly supervisor who occasionally comes by for minor maintenance such as maintaining the pond, maintaining the garden or other small technical work. The contact with the manager/supervisor is excellent. Our faulty air conditioning was replaced the next morning.

In short, a beautiful house with good service and in good condition. We will book our next stay here again.

Nice spacious house, also a lot of space outside.
A few tips, such as putting a lock on the door on the street side, replacing the TV (small and outdated), renovating the bathroom (is planned, Mrs. Bottse said), replacing (or removing) a broken trampoline and partially replacing bath towels + bed linen.
So (after some maintenance) definitely recommended as far as we are concerned.

We stayed at Oso Naomi from 10/06/2017 to 06/07/2017. We had a great time. Well taken care of by Mr. Graanoogst and Mrs. Bottse. We were a large group. 6 Adults 3 Kids. The house was clean and tidy upon entering. The swimming pool was a breath of fresh air, especially for the little ones. And they had the greatest pleasure in feeding Mr. Bassie's koi carp. Hours of watching the wondrous colors of the fish. During our stay, there were some maintenance defects that came to the fore. But due to Mr. Bassie's adequate actions, we had as little trouble as possible. Immediate action was taken on our requests.
Location Was fine.. Within 10 min in the center, Fernandes bakery 2 min walk, children's playground around the corner, and plenty of supermarkets within walking distance.
Overall a great place to stay and We will definitely book again.
Tip: in terms of child-friendliness. Perhaps offering 1 or 2 high chairs and possibly a camping cot, will increase the pleasure of staying even more for families with children under 5 years old.

We found the house on Micazu because we were looking for a house near Paramaribo for 5 people and 4 bedrooms, a swimming pool was optional. After contacting Robin Bassie about availability, we booked. Soon we were sent a manual of the house, so we knew what to expect. After arriving in Suriname, we contacted the caretaker, Judith, who was waiting for us in the house.
It is a lovely house, with plenty of space, refreshing pool, good security and a lovely covered area outside with hammocks. Minor problems were quickly remedied by Judith.
The Emile Boutersestraat is an extension of the Molenpad and the city can be reached in 10 minutes by rental car (highly recommended).
If we go again, we would like to rent the same house.
