We enjoyed a wonderful spring week in this beautiful not so touristy part of Piedmont. A lovely house with a beautiful country estate where the tulip tree was already in bloom. It is within walking distance of the old town of Susa. We were able to eat delicious food here at several nice restaurants. We walked a lot in the area, including a part of the Via Frachiscana. A beautiful route that is well signposted and for which you can get a hiking map at the local tourist office. In the week that was already too short, we also went to the beautiful old center of Turin by train from Susa. In short, we had a wonderful week in a surprisingly beautiful environment for us.

A nice house with a lovely veranda where you can eat outside. The cottage is well laid out and in hot weather also reasonably cool. The bathroom is a bit cramped, but everything is clean and tidy.
The setting is amazing and historically interesting. You can make walks via an app with geocaching, via 'attractions' from google maps and with the owner's booklets. In the village, within a kilometre, there are several eateries, for the most delicious 'cappuccini e pizze'!!

The house is quietly located in a beautiful mountainous area and is within walking distance of the village center. It is wonderful to relax on the terrace under the flowery carport, but a day in Turin or relaxing by a mountain stream is also possible. In short, we had a wonderful holiday in this holiday home.

Nice holiday home in a nice place. Everything is well taken care of and there are enough facilities available to have a good week. The area is very nice. Susa is a surprisingly nice city with beautiful Roman remains. Turin is also a nice city to visit. Overall impression of the house and the location is good. The only pity are the Italian neighbors.

The detached house feels luxurious and is cozy because the house and the terrace are wrapped between the high rocks and a high wall/barn. From the large covered terrace you only have a view of the flowery driveway. So a lot of privacy but no views of the surrounding mountains. If you sit on the balcony near the bedroom floor (plenty of room for 2 to 3 chairs) you already have a better view of the surrounding mountains. We liked that. Especially in the morning with a cup of coffee. House, terrace and kitchen are well equipped for a nice holiday. Susa is a really nice town and the surroundings/mountains are fantastic. The city of Turin was also a discovery for us. Just praise!! There is 1 downside: the mattresses and the beds (a bit of an ikea-children's room feeling). They didn't offer us enough comfort to really sleep well. We are fairly sporty and between 45 and 50 but this felt a bit basic. Fortunately, we were able to stack the thin mattresses because there were only two of us. Finally, a tip: take something with you against the mosquitoes (for the evening on the terraces and when you sleep). There aren't a lot of them, but they are very prickly. There are already three mosquito nets in the bedrooms.

Unique and attractive cottage in the north of Italy. Quiet area around the house and a beautiful region where you can see and experience everything. Turin is less than an hour's drive away, so we drove there a few times. Furthermore, a lot of nature and beautiful sights of antiquity to see nearby.

The cottage is equipped with all comforts. Make a cup of coffee in the morning, in the evening you can cook in the house or barbecue in the garden. The large terrace invites you to spend a lot of time outdoors.

We had a wonderful week in Susa. Enjoy! We will definitely go back again.

Had a wonderful week in Susa and how nice that it was possible again! Fortunately, everything seems to be back to normal in Italy. Restaurants, terraces, museums and shops are open again and people are happy that tourists are coming again. The stay in the house was super nice, everything well cared for and well clean. Nice large outdoor terrace which we have used a lot due to the beautiful weather. A week was too short to explore this beautiful area, we will definitely go back.
