A beautiful holiday home in a beautiful location. It is a lovely place to see a day "at the doorstep" and enjoy the pool, the sun and the view, but also lovely to return to after a day out.

We have spent our holidays in this quinta several times, the first time we were with eight people, this time we were with five, but that's what you get when you get older. Quietly located in a wooded area with many hiking opportunities. After the forest fire 2 years ago, nature has recovered in a positive form. For a quiet and pleasant stay, this is the ideal place!! Our sandwiches were delivered to the quinta on time in the morning. Progress!

For the first time after the fires of October 2017 we were back at the Quinta Mamadeira. Even though it is a lot more "barren" now, it is still a beautiful place. We were there for the sixth time or so, very special because we never do the same house 2 times. But for this lovely house in this beautiful place we make an exception! Peace, space, relaxed. House is very quiet and equipped with everything you need. To see how large forest fires have left their mark on the area. The plot of the Quinta was neatly cleaned up but otherwise many blackened trees in the area. We had two friends over for a few days. The house is also spacious enough for a group of 4 adults. Pool and outdoor shower were lovely!

It is now Christmas break and Top2000 time, and we are looking for a place for spring break.
But first I have to fill in the review at Micazu of our autumn holiday!
The Quinta was an ideal place for our sons of 10 and 12 to romp around in nature at a nice 22 degrees. For us as parents, especially enjoy the tranquility and the local gastronomy. The house is very fully equipped for self-catering, but the local restaurant prices of less than 10 euros for a complete meal made us holiday "lazy" :-) We will definitely come back!

Previously we visited the quinta with 6 friends every time to our complete satisfaction. The great nature and the central location in the middle of Portugal gives the opportunity to do something different every day. such as a city visit to Coimbra, a walk through the woods in the vicinity of Seia, a visit to the beach Praia de Mira or a mountain hike on the Serra Estrella. The quinta is fully equipped, which we also found very pleasant, such as a washing machine, a microwave and satellite television. The welcome was extremely friendly. And all that at a very reasonable price.
It will not be the last time that we use this beautiful and fantastically located accommodation where you can enjoy a great starry sky in the evening.
