About Petra Tjeertes & Roel van den Eijnde

Petra Tjeertes and Roel van den Eijnde settled in the southern Spanish region of Murcia in 2022 and bought a former camping site in the village of Perín, not far from the port city of Cartagena. Roel has not given up his old profession as a copywriter (Op Pad, SNP, ANWB), but now works from Spain. In addition, he guides trips for a small travel company. Petra has a background as a phytotherapist, acupuncturist and coach and had her own practice in Alkmaar and Amsterdam. Even in Spain, she sometimes still treats people.
We both love hiking! And that is surprisingly possible from our place that we have christened 'Montes de Perín'. The big advantage is that on the one hand we are on the edge of a nature park and on the other hand we live a fifteen minute drive from the port city of Cartagena. In addition, the beach is 6 km away. Sport, culture, sun and sea and gastronomy go hand in hand for us and that may not make our place unique, but it is very special!
