Quinta da Estrela, run by Tim and Saartje, was born from our passion for discovery, nature, and a new lifestyle.

After a career in logistics and human resources, we decided to follow our dreams in 2019. Our adventure, without set schedules, took us to the wilds of Africa, warm South America, and the Galapagos Islands.

Working as a management couple in Africa, Mozambique and Uganda laid the foundation for our entrepreneurial dream.

In 2023 we found home in Portugal at Quinta da Estrela, where we want to develop sustainable tourism.

We look forward to seeing you for an unforgettable holiday in this enchanting environment.
