We, Anka and Mike Zorn, had been on holiday in Germany with our family for many years. We finally took the plunge and bought a house in the beautiful Sauerland in 2010. The Sauerland has beautiful surroundings to offer at any time of the year, lots of nature and mainly peace and quiet, no planes, no traffic jams, no noise.
We can seek out the hustle and bustle if we want, but you cannot force peace, it is there or it is not.
You can hear the stream in the meadow on the other side quietly babbling and the Highlanders walking. After so many years we still enjoy going there. We have our own company and I can also do my work from Germany, which gives us enormous freedom to go to Willingen Upland whenever we want.
