I regularly go on holiday there myself to enjoy everything the island has to offer
Renting a car is the best solution to explore the whole island,
the bus transport is also fine and cheap.

Second set of bedding would be more convenient. Duvet cover as sheet is not necessary and is difficult to dry. Chairs in front of the pool very awkward, one you lay all the way through and when you're small it's hard to get out...

Jacques there are at least 2 more bed sets but in the upper closet, you do have to take a small staircase, but that is present.
There is a drying rack available.
