Defneland owes its name to the 600 laurel trees that grow here, on our 5000 m2 piece of land there are also Jacaranda, Acacia, Pepper, Mulberry, Walnut, Lilac, Citrus, Oleander and of course Olive trees. For herb lovers you will find a varied selection of rosemary, mint, oregano, thyme, sage, basil, lavender and lime blossom. We have lived here since 1989 and now that we are retired, the children and grandchildren live in other countries, we needed a new challenge, and this has been realized by placing two tiny houses in our garden. The houses are fully furnished, running hot and cold water, have their own front garden and shared use of the swimming pool, a place in nature, an oasis of peace with the comfort of home.
