We are Piet and Janneke Douma, we have just retired and can therefore enjoy this wonderful place even more. Over the past 9 years, we have spent a lot of time renovating both houses and the grounds. We have experienced that you are never there too long, but that it is always a shame when you leave.
We first rented out the big house during the summer months and may do so again in the future. Since our gite is finished, we only rent out this house. We get a lot of satisfaction from the rental, because really all guests are very enthusiastic about the house etc. and we see that as a nice compliment for all the work we have done with so much enthusiasm.
