Never before have we been so impressed by a holiday home as with this water villa. There is nothing too much said in the description. Every morning at dawn we were impressed by the (water) birds and the beautiful view. The house is fully equipped, and very cozy and cozy. The beds are lovely with nice duvets. Also, the house is clean and fresh. We will definitely go back. In the vicinity we visited the fortified towns of Heusden and Woudrichem, and cycled daily. The children (and we) really liked Loevestein Castle, and of course a day at Efteling could not be missed now that we were on holiday so close by. In short, highly recommended in all respects.
We will definitely go back.

The Water Villa lives up to its name. Beautiful location right on the water. As a bird watcher and nature lover, you can watch from the jetty, but you can also enjoy it from the veranda in all luxury, in good or bad weather. Everything is in excellent condition and taken care of down to the last detail. Highly recommended. Eric was correct in the handling and cordial in the welcome. Thanks Eric.

The house is equipped with everything and is beautifully located on the water. The view is very beautiful and really gives the feeling of being away for a while. In the area are nice settlement towns such as Heusden, Woudrichem, Gorinchem and Zaltbommel. In Veen itself, apart from the Jumbo, there are not many facilities. Furthermore, the contact with Eric is pleasant and he is easy to reach for questions.

From the various, comfortable seating areas in and around the house you can enjoy the beautiful view!

Lots of nice places to sit. Inside and out. One of them is the picnic bench on the jetty for nice morning or evening sun. If you are lucky you will see a cormorant and otherwise another water bird.
Located close to junction cycle routes. Woudrichem, Loevenstein Castle, Ammersoyen Castle and Heusden are within cycling distance.

The house is beautifully situated on the water with all kinds of water birds and we even found a whole school of carp at the jetty on several days. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets. House is comfortable and has all kinds of wonderful places where you can stay both together and alone. The house as a base for walking and cycling tours is ideally located in this beautiful river area and you can visit fortified towns, Heusden, Woudrichem Gorinchem etc but also the Loonse and Drunense dunes are within cycling distance.

We had a wonderful holiday in the water villa. The house is in a beautiful location, super view over the water and even with less nice weather really enjoyable.
The house is very clean and completely complete. Everything was thought of, such as washing-up blocks, coffee pads, coffee creamer, sugar, waste bags, games, bbq to toilet rolls. There was even a flower from the garden waiting for us. We also really liked the fact that the beds were already made. It makes you feel right at home.
We were 4 people (2 adults and 2 teenagers) and had plenty of space. There was also a good place to park the car and bicycles.
Eric is very friendly and approachable. Gives quick reply and is very helpful.
Veen is a nice area to sail with a sloop, which we have done a lot.
The bakery at the jumbo in the village has delicious sandwiches and bread.
