We were four of us a week in the Blaeuwen Kot and felt very comfortable there. It is cozy and lovingly furnished, clean and very well maintained. The kitchen is very well equipped - even for many people. The first floor is very narrow, the stairs to it are steep and the steps are sometimes quite narrow. But that didn't bother us. The shower is great and the two separate toilets are an advantage. The beds are good, the nights were very quiet.
The garden is long and narrow and is bordered on one side almost the entire length of the neighboring house. The small terrace has space for a large wooden table and six chairs. The front garden is very nice. We especially enjoyed sitting there in the evenings.
In just a few minutes we were on foot at the beautiful beach and even shorter at nice restaurants and small supermarket. Overall, we liked it very much in Westenschouwden and we can definitely recommend the Blaeuwen Kot.
What we missed and could be improved: towel hooks in the bathroom and a parasol for the garden.
