In the general information you received in advance it is stated that the city bus line 1 (the nearest bus stop) is located about 300 meters (3 minutes walk) from esSence. This bus stops at all the beaches, the center, the parks and the promenade. Too bad you didn't take advantage of this. You may have overlooked that, best regards Jac

In a message you wrote "our holiday has been very good" despite the fact that you were sick the last 2 days of your holiday, That is of course very annoying, I hope you have recovered by now.
Hopefully the extra time due to the early check-in on arrival (10:00 am) and the late check-out on departure (4:00 pm) has compensated for this somewhat.

Guardamar del Segura is known for its beautiful city parks, the beautiful beaches (located close to our house) and the beautiful surrounding nature. There is no mass tourism yet, but that is precisely the charm of this nice place. In the center and on the boulevard you will find nice shops, restaurants and terraces. If you still want to spend a day in the hustle and bustle, there are plenty of options in the area, for example, a visit to Elche with its historic city center is really worthwhile. There are also several large shopping malls in the immediate vicinity. A visit to the surrounding salt lakes (with flamingos) and the natural park la Mata is also worthwhile.
