The mobile home was not really clean, lots of hair everywhere, caked dirt at taps and dirty pans + inside cabinets/drawers. We did pay a mandatory €60 cleaning fee. This felt very bitter.

The mobile home was not really clean, lots of hair everywhere, caked dirt at taps and dirty pans + inside cabinets/drawers. We did pay a mandatory €60 cleaning fee. This felt very bitter.
Moreover, there is hardly any room for groceries.
The gas fireplace (gas smell!) only heated the room, so bedrooms were damp.
No freezer compartment available.

Nice location for walking and cycling trips. Nice and quiet in the park. Waking up to birds chirping. And that's exactly what we were looking for. So we had a great week despite the bad weather.

We spent 4 days on New Year's Eve in "The Squirrel" with 2 teenage girls and our 2 dogs.
Excellent accommodation, where everything was available that we needed / want. We attach great importance to hygiene and cleanliness ...

Excellent accommodation, where everything was available that we needed / want. We attach great importance to hygiene and cleanliness and that was certainly the case here.
Furthermore, this accommodation also has many extras that I don't often find in cottages but which I really appreciated! Think of: tea lights, accessories that make you feel at home such as cushions, plants, lamps, a very extensive crockery, a washing machine and many board games/puzzles.
Also, the service of the owner is very good and we felt, along with our dogs, very welcome.
Furthermore:
Beautiful walking/cycling area. Quiet park with more than enough privacy.

Chalet de Eekhoorn is a wonderful stay, cozy, good beds and everything available. You feel very welcome by the hospitality of the owner.
We received great tips to explore the area. We enjoyed!!
