We enjoyed our holiday with Marc, Els and dog Max in the Pyrenees-Orientales. Their gite has everything you need to completely unwind and the private swimming pool is lovely. The owners are very welcoming and offer complete privacy. You will also be regularly surprised with fresh vegetables from your own garden. Nothing is too much. A ten-minute drive away is a small shop where you can buy bread and everyday products. For the weekly groceries or a nice market, we went to Ceret about 30 minutes from Prunet. The house is beautifully situated in the mountains.

The holiday home is in a beautiful location, but the road to the supermarket is quite far and you spend an average of 2 hours for shopping. As a result, you're less likely to go out in the evening. The house is fully equipped, ...

The holiday home is in a beautiful location, but the road to the supermarket is quite far and you spend an average of 2 hours for shopping. As a result, you're less likely to go out in the evening. The house is fully equipped, there is also plenty to do for the (young) children. The interior is a bit dated. The owners are very friendly and welcome you with a cold drink and in between we got vegetables from their own vegetable garden. In short, we had a nice stay.

We had a great time with Marc and Els. Too much to do in 1 week, beautiful surroundings. However, you must be able to withstand the height in terms of roads. Prieure de sarabonne is highly recommended.
