The cupboards look a bit full, but every person differs in their needs. Some want a thick pillow, a thicker duvet. I try to provide that.

Because the guests came with 2 people, I proposed to only use the ground floor with a discount of €40 cleaning costs. The guests agreed, but wanted the 1.60 m bed. Now there are 2 bedrooms with 1.60 m beds. The guests used the wrong room. I indicated in the complaint that there were 4 other beds to use. The guests haven't tried that again. There are 5 beds with double mattresses. The mattresses vary in sg value to make it to everyone's liking.
During the period that Mr. stays it is extremely hot. There are also a lot of mosquitoes. The guests left at 10:00 am and the gentleman would be allowed into the house at 4:00 pm. I've ventilated, but with that heat it's not effective. Setting up the whole house for the mosquitoes didn't seem like such a good idea. There are 2 hinged/tilt windows upstairs and 3 bedroom windows that can be opened. With the front door open, it is easy to air in the morning and evening hours. Downstairs there is a sliding door, a bedroom window, a door and two patio doors, a shower window and a kitchen window, so great to ventilate. Yes, there are spiders in the wooded area. Which do an excellent job in removing the mosquitoes. I usually remove cobwebs, but not cobwebs. As an environmental engineer, I know how to value the ecosystem and biodiversity. And spiders can make webs quickly.
I had cleaned the pans with steel wool and there may have been 3 black spots remaining, but there were 9 other pans. The kitchen is large, with at least 500 items! Not all of that can be checked in 6 hours. And letting the guests leave even earlier and be able to arrive later is not a good plan either.
If you want to value 3000 m2 of forest with a 6, there may be an undervaluation / too great an expectation of the ideal image. I've had a lot of guests this year. I also rent out at natuurhuisje, and get a lot of good reviews. I can imagine that with a sick family member you are very precise, perhaps hypersensitive to every dust in the house. There is a black table in the living room, and I took it off in the morning, but yes... On black you can see every speck of dust and I can't escape staticity either. Giving facilities a 1, and then reading the review of the previous review by Agnes, with facilities an 8 and hygiene a 9 does raise question marks. I tried very hard to make the gentleman feel at home, considered offering a replacement stay. But every fiber in me tells me it's never going to be good enough.

Nice figures and as far as maintenance is concerned, you are absolutely right. The mechanic will come next Thursday. They are very busy and scheduling a mechanic in between bookings is even more difficult. I would like to hear from you where you think it should be painted, because I have not noticed that yet.
