Both we and our children enjoyed our holiday at Le Blaireau. After a short drive on a dirt driveway, we arrived at Le Blaireau, at the top of a hill. What a fantastic view you have from there! On clear days we could even see the Pyrenees which are only an hour and a half away. Although the area has quite a lot to offer, we spent our holiday – contrary to our plans – mainly at the pool. The peace, freedom and privacy was exactly what we needed after all the Corona stress of the past year. Upon arrival we were kindly welcomed by the owners Peter and Gerie, who had prepared a delicious baguette with French cheeses and a bottle of wine for us. Very nice, after a long car ride! The holiday home is especially ideal with children, lots of space, no neighbors or passing traffic, and of course the great swimming pool with a super view. At the pool we had a large pool house including indoor and outdoor kitchen so nice to eat and drink by the pool. Actually, you only need to be in the apartment to sleep. Next year we hope to come back (a week longer) to alternate the days at the pool with trips in the area.
