the bed should be bigger, especially if you stay there for more than 2 weeks, like us, the television is small (much too small) and only has English channel...

the bed should be bigger, especially if you stay there for more than 2 weeks, like us, the television is small (much too small) and only has English channels, for the summer months it is not a problem, but for the winter months for us personally a loss that there are no Dutch channels available, furthermore it is a super house with of course a great garden and veranda

Very nice and complete gîte! Nice, restful place in a beautiful environment. Enjoyed the view of the animal meadow from the terrace. Household goods also very complete. Even with a full week of rain, we had a great time!

Extra nice were the goats, chickens (fresh eggs every day!), Donald the duck with his little nephews and of course the border collies Iggy Pop and Lolly Pop.

We enjoyed the beautiful quiet place.

We were for the 2nd time with Karl in this cottage. Our dogs really loved it, you can go for a lovely walk in the neighborhood. It is so nice to escape from all the (corona) things at home and then just enjoy yourself. The region is not super touristy, but that makes you appreciate the little things. A market, a fantastically beautiful castle and of course Karl's great goats, I will miss them enormously.

What a wonderful place it is to completely relax, read or walk. Nice restaurants, shops and markets in the area.

What a wonderful place it is to completely relax, read or walk. Nice restaurants, shops and markets in the area.
Enjoy the silence, which is disturbed at most by the 'cowbell' hanging around the neck of a goat or by the rooster that heralds the day. Eat on the porch. In the summer the house is nice and cool, on the colder days you can warm yourself by the wood stove.
Karl is a sympathetic, creative and helpful host and makes you feel very welcome.
There are games in the dresser and if you want to read, there is plenty to choose from the bookcase. And recently my book 'My Me and I', which was published on April 16, is also on the shelf.
Have fun in this lovely place!

If you like peace and quiet, this is a great place to take a break from the hustle and bustle of the day.
The english speaking owner is very friendly and helpful.

we come to Karl from 2019, but then 3 times a year, now because of the corona our plans were thwarted, but fortunately we were able to celebrate our summer holiday for 2 weeks, what a pleasure to be here. with our 3 Labradors we make beautiful walks together with Karl (the owner), with a nice anecdote of the area on every walk, really people who like peace and quiet, then go book .you can look up the crowds, you are from Chateau Chervix a short 40 minutes from Limoges a very nice city, I can tick for hours, but you have to experience it yourself. Karl will tell you everything, but if desired he will also leave you alone, his dogs ( Border collies ,Iggy and Lolly are great and go very well with strangers dogs

Quiet location, fantastically furnished. Lots of opportunities to hike without meeting anyone. Wonderful to do cultural trips to the various castles, the red city and the caves in the Dordogne. The owner is very friendly and knows a lot about the area. We will come here more often! Dogs welcome! Not bothered by Corona because few people in the area.
