Located in the heart of the Swiss Alps in Niedergrächen at an altitude of almost 1,600 meters. A great place to spend your holiday. In the middle of the green, quietly located and that is enjoyment in all seasons!
Only a few minutes by car or bus or 15/20 minutes on foot to the village center of Grächen. Grächen has the most hours of sunshine in all of Switzerland, with a minimum of 299 days per year. Both the house and the Grächen area are extremely family and child friendly. In an authentic Valais setting, you can enjoy breathtaking views, more than 250 km of hiking trails from a (few) hours to several days for all levels (including hut tours). The ski area, with over 40km of sun-drenched slopes, offers plenty of challenge up to 2865 metres between mid-December and mid-April. Grächen has been no. 1 or 2 as the best family ski area in Switzerland for years. The village organizes a range of activities in all seasons, and is located in the immediate vicinity of Saas Fee, Zermatt and Brig. Lake Geneva is 1.5/2 hours away with fashionable places such as Montreux and Laussane. Italy is just around the corner: Lago d'Orta and Lake Maggiore are only 1.5/2 hours away and great for a special day out on the road or in combination with Grächen as a holiday mood. Outside , garden furniture is available on the south-facing private terrace (over 30 m2), and you can enjoy a breathtaking unobstructed view of a few so-called four-thousand or the ibex that often pass by. Temperatures in the summer easily reach around 25/30 degrees with wonderfully cool evenings.
The apartment is located on the ground floor and is almost 110 m2 in size (previously two apartments) and is absolutely pet and non-smoking. There are 6 beds available, two bathrooms and a private terrace (South). The house is attractive and very fully furnished. A spacious sitting area with lots of light, open corner kitchen with all appliances and all conceivable kitchen utensils (dishwasher, oven, microwave, refrigerator, freezer, kettle, coffee machine, Nespresso-Citiz, toaster, juicer, plastic children's crockery, mixer, etc., etc.), a spacious dining area, flat screen, DVD player, of course free home-own WIFI, garage parking for one car and extra for the little ones: cot, high chair and a sturdy buggy. In addition, children's toys, many board games for young and old, and a wide range of DVDs for family and children's entertainment. For a fee you can use a Miele washing machine and dryer. The property is located 150 meters from the main road. Public transport (bus) also 150 meters away (ideal for winter and free with ski pass).

After a reservation request, we draw up a rental contract. After we have received a signed rental contract including copy ID and the (down) payment, the booking is final. Of course we will send you many more tips, sights, details regarding the house, exact address/route description/key instructions, and in particular the area.
Rental in high season is only possible per 7 nights or multiple thereof (Saturday to Saturday). Rental in low season is possible with a minimum of 4 nights with arrival on Saturday, Sunday, Monday or Tuesday. For short stays (shorter than 7 nights) there is unfortunately no departure possible on Sundays. For short stays, (slightly) adjusted rates apply.
