Ski in and ski out - from the apartment it is about 2 minutes to the main path and from there to the next ski lift "Alpmatten", which gives you access to the 104 km of perfectly groomed slopes of the 'Aletsch Arena'. When you come back from the piste, you can ski right to the front door! In just 2 minutes you can reach the year-round free pedestrian connection lift (Schräglift Alpmatten), which takes you directly to the village center. In the village center you will find restaurants, shops, a pharmacy, a bank and a post office. And all this is only 600 meters from the cable car station, a comfortable 15-minute walk or a short ride by ski or (snow) taxi – the latter ideal if you are traveling with luggage .'Camelot 1' not only benefits from a sunny panoramic balcony, but as an added bonus has a small, cozy garden with a south-west facing terrace where you can enjoy the mountain views and have a barbecue in the summer! Explanation of the prices & cancellation policy

The deposit is 50% of the rental amount and is to be paid directly after you have received the booking confirmation. The balance is to be paid 60 days before the start of the rental. If more people travel than provided for in the rental agreement, the additional person will be charged separately, depending on the object. If fewer people travel, they will not require additional costs and tourist tax, only what the amount from CHF. 150.-- will be refunded.
A withdrawal from the rental contract is possible under the following conditions. The deposit of 50% of the rent is due in any case. If the cancellation period is less than 61 days, or if the arrival does not take place, the full rental price is due. The tenant is allowed to propose a replacement tenant, who must be reasonable and solvent for the landlord. The replacement tenant accepts the contract under the existing conditions, tenant and replacement tenant are jointly and severally liable for the rent. The receipt of the notification by the agent or the booking office is decisive for the calculation of the cancellation fee, for (Saturdays, Sundays or public holidays) the next working day applies. The Great Aletsch Glacier is a sight of archaic beauty. High up, at the Hohfluh, Moosfluh, Bettmerhorn and Eggishorn viewpoints, one becomes most clearly aware of the size and uniqueness of the Great Aletsch Glacier. One cannot escape the fascination of the huge ice flow, which stretches over a length of 20 km from its catchment area in the Jungfrau region (4000 m) down to the Massa Gorge, which is around 2500 m below.

The Bettmersee is a mountain lake in the Valais municipality of Bettmeralp. It is located below the Bettmerhorn at an altitude of 2009 meters above sea level in a tourist area. A stroller-friendly circular path leads around the 300m long and just as wide mountain lake. Various picnic areas and a well-developed barbecue area in the rear part of the lake invite you to rest all around. Also on the north shore, the "Bootshüsi" offers food and drink with a beautiful terrace directly on the lake.

The Belalp-Riederalp suspension bridge in Switzerland is 24 meters long. The crossing is one of the absolute hiking highlights in Valais. Because the path leads at a height of 80 meters directly in front of the glacier gate of the majestic Great Aletsch Glacier over the Massa Gorge and connects the Belalp with the Riederalp. The view down into the wild Massa Gorge promises an adrenaline rush and thrill at the same time.

The suspension bridge was built in 2008 and secures the old connection between Belalp and Riederalp. This used to lead directly over the Great Aletsch Glacier, but disappeared due to the retreat of the glacier.

The Pro Natura Center Aletsch in the Villa Cassel is located on the Riederfurka in the middle of the magnificent mountain landscape around the Aletsch Forest nature reserve and the Great Aletsch Glacier. At the same time, it is your gateway to the Swiss Alps Jungfrau-Aletsch UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Snow-capped mountains, blue skies, warm sunshine and a breathtaking view of more than 40 four-thousanders and the largest glacier in the Alps: the ski area on the Swiss Alps Jungfrau-Aletsch UNESCO World Heritage Site offers everything a skier's and snowboarder's heart desires. Thanks to the altitude between 1845 and 2869 meters above sea level, perfect winter sports conditions are also guaranteed from December to April.

The ski area for families and connoisseurs

Golfers an insider tip. It is located in the Aletsch Arena at an altitude of 2000 m and is therefore the highest 9-hole golf course in Europe
The golf course is located on a high plateau above the Rhône valley, with a spectacular view of 40 four-thousanders such as the Eiger, Mönch, Jungfrau and the world-famous Matterhorn. Thanks to the sunny, very mild climate, the lawn quality is excellent.

The time has finally come - on the Bettmeralp you can now also play golf in winter and right next to the ski slope. Because there is a new indoor golf course in the Bachtla sports center. In addition to playing more than 40 golf courses, there are other modes such as driving range or nearest to the pin.
For many it is a leisure activity with a high fun factor, for others it is an effective training opportunity.
The golf simulator is ideal for beginners as well as for experts and can be rented by the hour for 1-4 people.

It doesn't matter whether the weather in the Aletsch Arena in Valais is good or bad: the Gletschiland indoor playground on Bettmeralp guarantees endless fun and games for families and children (minimum age 4 years). Lots of exciting play equipment awaits you at the Gletschiland indoor playground. These include slides, for example a tube slide, and trampolines. And of course there is also a climbing frame. The Gletschiland indoor playground is located in the Bachtla sports center on Bettmeralp.

The Bettmeralp sports center offers a wide range of sports and wellness activities in both winter and summer. Here you will not only find the wellness pool with the heated jacuzzi, 18 m pool and giant slide, but also a separate spa area with two different saunas, a spacious fitness room and a sports hall for various sports. The team at the Restaurant Sportzentrum takes care of your physical well-being.

Leave your own tracks on a glacier, look carefully into the impressive crevasses and experience the intense blue of the eternal ice: A tour on the Great Aletsch Glacier is one of the absolute highlights of the summer holidays in the Aletsch Arena. From Fiesch, access is possible via Fiescheralp and Märjela. However, entering the glacier is only permitted with a mountain guide. Hiking up to the edge of the Great Aletsch Glacier is permitted for everyone and is a spectacle, especially for families with children.
