In winter, Sörenberg turns into the family ski area of Switzerland! The ski bus stops in front of the door but it is also not far to walk to the nearest ski lift (10min/800m)

Summer Highlights : Brienzer Rothorn: Lucerne's highest mountain with breathtaking views of Lake Brienz, accessible by cable car. Free admission to the Brienzer Rothorn (cable car) in summer with the Sörenberg Card!
Eissee: idyllic mountain lake below the Rothorn, a popular hiking destination, possible from the apartment (advanced skiers) or from the mountain station of the Rothorn cable car. As a reward you will find a sun terrace with delicious local specialties!
Mooraculum: the largest moorland adventure park in the Alps – interactive, child-friendly and educational.
Rossweid – Starting point for many activities, accessible on foot or with the cable car "Rossweid". Children's adventure world: playground, water games, barbecue areas, ideal for families. Panoramic hiking trails: for example, from Rossweid to Salwideli, with a view of Schrattenfluh and Hohgant. Cycling routes and e-bike routes: varied routes for all levels.
Winter highlights:
Family ski area Sörenberg: Clear ski area, with countless, wide blue and red slopes. There are several restaurants with sunny terraces on and around the slopes. At the mountain station "Rossweid" there is also a picnic area.
For the advanced skier, the challenging black run of the Rothorn awaits! The Rothorn slopes and the slopes in Sörenberg are connected in winter by a ski road and the free ski bus.
Ski schools and practice slopes: Professional guidance for young and old skiers by the Sörenberg Ski School.
Toboggan runs: Tobogganing fun on various routes (e.g. Rossweid-Sörenberg).
Cross-country skiing center Salwideli: Well-groomed trails through snow-covered heather landscapes. From our own experience we can say that this is a fairytale area with very clearly marked routes (between 4 and 13 km). The sun terrace at the Salwideli restaurant invites you to enjoy a drink or a delicious Swiss meal!
Winter hiking trails and snowshoe hiking trails: Quiet trails in untouched nature.
Equipment for all activities can be rented in abundance in the center of Sörenberg.
Discover Switzerland
Of course, it is also possible to visit other sights in Switzerland from Sörenberg. For example, to the city of Lucerne you need about an hour by car. In summer you can take the beautiful "Panoramstrasse" to Brienz and Interlaken. The nearest train station can be reached by bus (stops in front of the accommodation) and is in Schüpfheim.
