Villa Esmeralda with heated pool and sauna is located near the beach (less than 5 minutes by car) in Salobreña. The villa has a beautiful sea view.

The villa sits on a plot of 1200 square meters with lots of privacy. Here you will find everything you need to relax and enjoy, no matter what time of year it is. In addition to the heated swimming pool and Finnish sauna, both sitting rooms have wood-burning stoves. There is central heating and air conditioning. You will love the colorful garden. There is internet access and TV with international channels. The villa has a separate apartment, which can be accessed internally and externally.

This villa is south facing and therefore enjoys the sun all day long. Upon entering the villa you will be amazed by the spectacular sea views and the light. There is a wall of windows with fantastic views of the Mediterranean Sea and to the west there are French doors that allow you to enjoy the garden from the inside. You can sit in the garden. This is a fantastic place for breakfast.

On the ground floor you will find a fully equipped kitchen with a beautiful view, a bedroom with two single beds and a bathroom. This bedroom is ideal for anyone with mobility issues, as there are no stairs and access to the house is completely flat.

Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms with king size beds, each with its own bathroom and a large terrace. Both bedrooms have great sea views. On the lowest level of this 3-storey villa, there is another large Arabic style open space with a wood-burning stove. Part of that room is screened off as a bedroom with a double bed. On the same floor there is a sink and shower. There is also an apartment with a double bedroom, a private bathroom, a living room with a sofa bed for two additional guests and a kitchen. The relaxing Finnish sauna is also located on this floor.
Due to its design with the bedrooms spread over 3 floors, this villa is ideal for several families holidaying together. There are large spaces where everyone can be together, but when people want time alone, they can easily find their own spot on one of the various terraces or in the garden.

The pool is on the lower level. It is surrounded by a large, sunny terrace. The views from the pool terrace are breathtaking and here you can enjoy the sun all day long as the villa is south facing. You can see both the sunrise and sunset from here. There are comfortable sun loungers so you can enjoy sunbathing, a table and chairs, as well as a good gas barbecue.

Villa Esmeralda is located on the very beautiful hillside urbanization of Alfamar. The urbanization has a leisure area with a large swimming pool and a tennis court. Our guests can use these facilities free of charge. The tennis court is open all year round, the communal swimming pool is open in July and August. This villa is located in the south of Spain, near the charming coastal town of Almunecar. Almunecar is known for its beautiful and varied set of beaches, its old town, its daily fresh produce market and great restaurants. Almunecar has a very laid-back and relaxed atmosphere, so it's a perfect place to holiday.

The beach, restaurants and shops are less than a 10-minute drive away. There is easy access to Malaga, Granada or Almeria airport. There are many things to see and do: the ski resort of Sierra Nevada, where you can also enjoy a great hike, is less than 75 minutes away, so you can go skiing in the morning (from December to April) and relax on the beach or by the pool in the afternoon. There is a golf course 10 minutes away which is right on the beach. The picturesque mountain villages of Las Alpujarras are nearby, as well as the beautiful cities of Granada with the world-famous Alhambra Palace and Malaga with its historic downtown, the cathedral and the Picasso museum.

Salobreña has a subtropical climate with more than 300 days of sunshine a year and an average temperature of more than 20 degrees. For those interested in sightseeing, art, architecture, and history, this region offers the best of what Andalusia has to offer. You will be charmed and overwhelmed by the beauty of the region. Small white villages on top of the hills, tropical nature, sounds of flamenco and of course the richness and variety of Spanish food.
