Villa Dorada

The architecture of this beautiful, modern villa allows the generously bright interior space to flow seamlessly into the sunny outdoor space. The villa with white marble floors is remarkably light and has a fabulous view of the Mediterranean Sea, the mountains of the Sierra Nevada with the snow-capped peaks in winter and the picturesque town of Salobreña with the 13th century Moorish castle built on the rock, which is illuminated at night. The villa is south facing, so you can enjoy the Spanish sun from sunrise to sunset. The villa has a private heated swimming pool and a spacious terrace, part of which is covered, so you can relax for hours in the sun as well as in the shade and enjoy the beautiful views. There is a bathroom on the terrace. The villa has an elevator and is fully accessible for people in wheelchairs.

The spacious, modern living room has a comfortable sitting area. There is widescreen satellite TV with a large number of European and international channels as well as WIFI. The open kitchen with work island is fully equipped, so you can prepare delicious Spanish dishes, where you can prepare the daily fresh fish on the spacious gas BBQ on the terrace. At the covered outdoor table you can linger for hours and enjoy the beautiful Spanish wines and the grandiose view.

On the same floor as the living room is the master bedroom with a king size bed (1.80 x 2.00m) and an en suite bathroom made of beautiful natural stone. This spacious bedroom and bathroom are ideal for people in wheelchairs. The first floor has a second bedroom with a double bed and a separate bathroom. The laundry room with washing machine and dryer is also located on this floor.

With the stairs or the elevator you go to the ground floor where there are another 4 spacious 2-person bedrooms, each with a tasteful en suite bathroom. All bathrooms have double sinks and a relaxing rain shower. Two bedrooms have a king size bed and two bedrooms have 2 single beds. The bedrooms have beautiful built-in wardrobes. All bedrooms give direct access through sliding glass doors to terraces that run the full width of the villa and from where you can enjoy the beautiful sunrise and views of the Mediterranean Sea. If you prefer to sleep in, simply keep the fully automatic blackout blinds closed.

Outside the high season you can choose to rent the entire villa with 6 bedrooms or at a reduced rate 4 bedrooms, where 2 bedrooms are closed.  

Villa Dorada is built on the beautiful hill of Monte de los Almendros. The communal recreation area with tennis court, swimming pool, paddling pool, football field and petit restaurant (during the summer months) are within walking distance.

The beach, restaurants and shops are less than a 10-minute drive away. The airports of Malaga, Granada and Almeria are easily accessible. If you can detach yourself from this beautiful villa, there are many things to see and do in the area: the ski resort of the Sierra Nevada, where you can also take beautiful walks, is less than 75 minutes drive away, so you can ski in the morning (from December to April) and enjoy the beach or your pool in the afternoon. The 18-hole golf course, which is located on the beach, is a 10-minute drive away. The picturesque mountain villages in the Alpujarras are in the vicinity of the villa as well as the beautiful historic cities of Granada with the world famous Alhambra palace and Malaga with its historic center, the cathedral and the Picasso museum. 

Salobreña benefits from the subtropical microclimate with over 300 days of sunshine per year and an average temperature of over 20°C. For those interested in art, architecture and history, this region offers the best that Andalusia has to offer. You will be impressed by the charm and beauty of this area. Small white mountain villages hidden in the mountain landscape, tropical plants, Flamenco music and not to forget the richness and variety of Spanish food.
