Holiday house


Casa Sonrisa is a 6-person holiday home, located in a residential area, 5 minutes by car from the (sandy) beach and the car-free center of Moraira. 

The house has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms spread over 2 floors. On the ground floor is the living room, the kitchen, a bathroom with shower and toilet, the conservatory and the garden.

The garden is adjacent to a courtyard with communal swimming pool, which is maintained and checked weekly. There is also a shower.


Living room
The living room offers plenty of space to eat together (6 people), relax on the spacious corner sofa and watch TV. It is a smart TV where you can log in to your own Netflix, Videoland etc. account. The living room and kitchen can be made cool (and warm for the winter months) by means of an air conditioner. Wi-Fi is available.

There is also a fireplace (wood). Nice to heat the house in the colder months in addition to the air conditioning also through the fireplace.


Kitchen
The kitchen is equipped with a gas hob, combi microwave, dishwasher and 2 table top refrigerators, both with a freezer compartment. A Nespresso coffee machine and an electric kettle are also provided. In addition, the kitchen is equipped with all possible kitchen utensils.


Bathroom ground floor
This bathroom has a toilet and walk-in shower. There is also a washing machine here, which can be used by guests. 


1st floor
On the 1st floor there are 3 bedrooms, a bathroom with spacious walk-in shower and toilet. There is extra cupboard space on the landing.


Bedroom 1
The most spacious bedroom contains a double bed with a built-in wardrobe. The bedroom has patio doors leading to the balcony from where you have a view of the courtyard, pool and sea. The bedroom has air conditioning (hot/cold). With the shutters in the window, it can be made dark for the night.


Bedroom 2
The 2nd bedroom has 2 single beds with a built-in wardrobe and air conditioning (hot/cold). You will also find shutters in this bedroom to make it dark.


Bedroom 3
The 3rd bedroom has a bunk bed with built-in wardrobe and air conditioning (hot/cold). The shutters are also present here.


Garden
In the garden there is a garden table with 4 chairs and a bench. There are 2 sun loungers and a large parasol.


Courtyard
The courtyard is a fenced private property, to be used exclusively by residents and/or guests. The garden can be closed off by means of a fixed gate. The possibility of closing off the garden makes Casa Sonrisa also the ideal holiday home for families with small children.


Parking
There is a private parking space in front of the entrance to the courtyard.


Energy, water & gas
The economic use of energy and water is very important to us. The energy consumption of the air conditioners, refrigerator and other equipment in the house is low. The consumption of 125 kWh (per week) is included in the rental price. Based on the meter readings, we will settle any additional consumption afterwards at €0.35 per kWh.

Water and gas are included in the rental price.


Other matters
Casa Sonrisa was completely renovated in 2020 with new furniture, air conditioning and beds etc. The air conditioners in the house have the ability to supply hot or cold air, making it pleasant in the house all year round. There are 2 fans and a washing machine. Cot and/or high chair available (for a fee on request).
In 2022, the garden and terrace were fitted with a microrock cement floor and the window frames were largely renewed. During the work in the winter of 2025/2026, both bathrooms were completely renovated. 


Surroundings and activities
Moraira is a pleasant town with many cozy squares, sunny terraces and many restaurants. For beach lovers, there are four beaches in the area, including Platja de l'Ampolla (family sandy beach, very suitable for children) and El Portet (one of the most idyllic spots on the Costa Blanca).

From Moraira you can visit many well-known villages on the Costa Blanca, for example Javea, Denia or Altea.

For lovers of walking/hiking, there are beautiful routes for various levels. This also applies to cyclists, there are countless beautiful routes in the vicinity.

We have been the three proud owners of Casa Sonrisa since 2020. The house is equipped with new furniture, beds, kitchen inventory and air conditioning. In the winter of 2025/2026, the bathrooms were completely renovated. Enjoy our casa, the beautiful Moraira and the fantastic surroundings.

Our caretaker Jacqueline will give you a short explanation on arrival and hand over the keys. Of course, she is also available during your stay for all kinds of questions and to solve any problems.
