This holiday home is the ideal place for peace seekers, hikers and cyclists. Far away from the tourist crowds, but only a 20-minute drive from the most beautiful beaches, you can enjoy the best of both worlds here.
About the house
Casa Monte Cabal was renovated in 2022 and furnished with brand new furniture, sanitary ware and kitchen appliances. In May 2024 we had new photos taken, which can now be admired in the advertisement.
The villa has two spacious bedrooms, each with two box-spring beds of 90x200 cm, which can easily be combined into a comfortable double bed. Both bedrooms have built-in wardrobes and cupboards with drawers.
The cozy living room has a comfortable sitting area and a large dining table for six people. You can enjoy a modern smart TV with Chromecast and a fast fiber optic internet connection (300mb). The WiFi signal is excellent throughout the house, including the porch.
All rooms have ceiling fans, air conditioning and central heating with radiators. The windows have mosquito nets, so you can enjoy the fresh air undisturbed.
The open kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need: a ceramic hob, no-frost combi fridge, dishwasher, convection oven, microwave, toaster, hand blender, kettle and of course plenty of crockery, pans and cutlery. You can make coffee with a filter machine, Nespresso machine or traditional espresso pot.
On the terrace by the pool of 8 by 4 meters there are four sunbeds with parasol waiting for you. On the naya (porch) you will find a 6-seater dining table, and there is a gas barbecue for delicious meals in the open air.
At the back of the villa there is a laundry room with washing machine and a door to the garden. You can hang your laundry there on the clothesline behind the house. There is also a shed available for storing bicycles.
Ideal location
Casa Monte Cabal is located in a quiet residential area on the outskirts of Sagra, close to the road that leads through the valley to Dénia. You don't have to brave steep or winding roads or climb long stairs to get to the villa. Parking is available on the street in front of the house or inside the fence next to the pool. The district is home to permanent residents all year round, both Spaniards and foreign retirees.
The area
Sagra, with about 400 inhabitants, is located in the district of "La Marina Alta", the northern part of the Costa Blanca. Behind the village rises the imposing mountain Monte Cabal, while in front orange plantations stretch to the coast. The lively coastal towns of Dénia and Jávea can be reached within half an hour by car. Further inland is the beautiful Jalón valley, also known as "Vall de Pop", a paradise for hikers and cyclists.
Airports can be found in Valencia and Alicante, both located just over an hour's drive away.
Shops
The nearest supermarket is a 5-minute drive away in the village of Orba. And by taking the road towards Dénia you will reach the large indoor shopping center "Portal de la Marina" after 15 minutes. There you will find a Carrefour hypermarket, fashion stores, restaurants, a Lidl, Aldi, and Decathlon.

Important information:
- A car is needed to move around in the area.
- Smoking and pets are not allowed.
- Parties are not allowed, and the tenants must respect the peace and quiet in the neighborhood.
- The pool is not fenced. Small children are therefore never allowed on the terrace without being accompanied by an adult.
- Check-in on arrival always takes place between 4 pm and 9 pm and check-out on departure is always before 10 am.
- After accepting the booking request, we will first contact you by phone to get acquainted and provide further explanation.
- After the telephone introduction, you will receive a rental contract in which all conditions and house rules are stated. By paying the deposit you agree to the rental contract, and with that your booking is definitively confirmed.
- We always rent the house for a minimum of 11 nights, according to the regulations for seasonal rentals in accordance with article 3.2 of the Spanish Law 29/1994 on Urban Leases (LAU).
