Holiday house


Holiday home l'Oasis is located in a cul-de-sac with only a few houses, in the district of Cometa III. You access the house through an electric gate. The driveway offers ample space for a few cars and is partly covered by shade cloths.

The single-storey house of 65m² is attached to the main house. It is therefore a residential unit completely independent of it, with a separate entrance (with 4 flights of stairs). The owners themselves are not present during the rented periods.

The house is surrounded by a beautiful tropical garden that is completely enclosed and offers a lot of privacy. To protect against burglary, there are a few cameras, at the driveway (2) and the rear (1 above). However, privacy is guaranteed.
There are no significant stairs around the house. The plot has a total area of 945m².

The terrace with private swimming pool (8x4m, depth from 1.2 to 2m) is fully south-facing and offers a panoramic view of the Olta mountain. So you can have breakfast in the sun in the morning and enjoy the beautiful sunset in the lounge set under the cabin until late in the evening. Due to its southern location, the pool has a pleasant temperature early in the year.
Tenants can also use the outdoor shower, an outdoor toilet, the gas barbecue and the pool house (34m²) with a small kitchen, fridge with freezer compartment, washing machine, dryer, ironing board and iron.

At the entrance of the renovated house there is a small terrace with a table and 4 chairs.
Through a sliding window with pleated screen door you have access to the living room and open kitchen with electric stove, refrigerator, dishwasher and built-in microwave oven with grill.

In the living room with air conditioning (cold/hot) there is a TV with digital channels and a chromecast. 

There are 2 bedrooms:
- the master bedroom has a double bed (160x200), wardrobe and air conditioning (cold and hot)
- the second bedroom has 2 single beds (80x200), wardrobe and air conditioning (cold and hot).
The beds have comfortable mattresses and a slatted base.

The bathroom has a walk-in shower, toilet and cupboard and is equipped with heating.

All windows and doors are equipped with mosquito nets.
A cot (up to 2 years), baby bath and high chair are available free of charge on request. Free High Speed Wi-Fi (fiber optic) is provided on the entire plot (inside and outside).
Pets are not allowed.
Smoking in the house is also not allowed.

There are a few restaurants within walking distance of the house. The property is located 2.1km from the supermarkets, 2.5km from the beach and 3.5km from the center of Calpe, where you will find numerous shops and restaurants. If you have a car, it makes getting around more comfortable.

Explanation of the prices & cancellation policy


Additional and optional costs

  • The costs for the mandatory final cleaning and the optional bed linen/towel set are to be paid in cash on site when the keys are handed over.
  • Electricity according to consumption (€0.40/kWh), meter readings are taken on arrival and departure. 
  • The first 10 kWh/day is included and covers fixed consumption such as outdoor lighting, pool pump,..
  • With normal use, you still come to about €32/week (= 80 kWh).
  • The deposit will be refunded within 10 days after the end of the rental period, after deduction of the costs for electricity and any damage. 


Rental agreement and payment

  • The minimum age to book is 25 years.
  • After accepting the booking, you will receive a rental contract with the rental conditions.
  • If you agree to this, you must pay a deposit/advance of 30% of the rent within 7 days.
  • The reservation is then binding and final.
  • The balance of the total sum must be paid no later than 6 weeks before the start of the rental period.
  • If the booking is made less than 6 weeks before the start date of the stay, the full total amount will be paid at the time of booking.

Cancellation

If the renter wishes to cancel the booking, he must always confirm this by e-mail to the landlord (even if this has already been communicated by telephone, for example). The landlord will charge the following amounts, depending on the date of written cancellation by the tenant:

  • In case of cancellation up to 6 weeks before the start of the rental period, the cancellation fee is 30%
  • In case of cancellation between the 6th week and the 4th week before the start of the rental period, the cancellation fee is 50%
  • In case of cancellation within 4 weeks before the start of the rental period, the cancellation costs are 100%
  • If the tenant only announces on the start date or during the rental period that he will no longer use the leased property, he will continue to owe the full rent.

Discount

  • In the period from November to the end of March, a 40% discount on the rental price applies for stays longer than 6 weeks
