This attractive wooden forest house (Cabana) between the trees on a private plot of 25,000m2 is located on the Maresme coast, 40km from Barcelona center. Here you will find peace, nature, views of the Mediterranean Sea and in the distance from the terrace even the skyline of Barcelona.
The Surroundings : Our site is located on the large nature park Montnegre Corredor. This nature park is known as a paradise for mountain bikers (rental can be arranged, also electric). From our location it is about a 5-minute drive to the beach. In addition, our site is located near a Golf Club and there are several other Golf Clubs nearby. There are also many Tennis and especially Padel courts nearby.
The train station is on the beach and a 5-minute drive from us and takes you to the center of Barcelona in about 45 minutes. The Costa Brava starts at 35 km and offers many opportunities for surprising day trips on the beautiful coast with its rugged cliffs, hidden coves and turquoise waters or the picturesque medieval villages inland.
There are many MX circuits in the area and the Formula 1 circuit of Catalunya is 30 km away. You can visit and taste vineyards in Allella 20 km away, the Emporda or in Priorat, which is further away. Or enjoy the soothing thermal baths in the nearby Caldes d'Estrac.
Another popular destination is the Montserrat: The Montserrat mountain massif is a breathtaking destination known for its unique rock formations and the Montserrat Monastery.
What is also worth a visit are the botanical gardens in this region. Or the unique Cap de Creus Natural Park - which is said to have inspired the famous painter Salvador Dalí in his work.

And then it is always wonderful to come back to the peace and space of our paradise where you are away from the hustle and bustle and play a game of jeux-de-boules, relax in the Bali bed, take a splash in the pool, take a hot tub or sauna, or simply enjoy the view with a good glass of wine.
The Cabana : There is a Weber BBQ, covered outdoor terrace with dining table, a private boules court and plenty of space around it to set up sun loungers. An open kitchen with cooking island where everything you need is available so that you can cook extensively in peace. There is also a washing machine and dryer.
The living room has a spacious dining table and sitting area with smart TV (Chromecast). The bathroom is also spacious. There are two bedrooms, one of which has a double bed and the other can be set up as a double bed or as two single beds. There is a Wifi (fiber optic) available, making the place suitable for remote work.
Our property is completely fenced but due to the relatively large height differences not suitable for guests with limited mobility.
We welcome our guests to roam freely, with the exception of the private part of the main house. The pool is normally closed between November and the end of April. During this period, the hot tub and sauna are available for a small fee for wood, bathrobes etc.
We, Klaas & Jenny are a Dutch couple who came to Spain about 10 years ago. Before we came to Spain we lived in the Netherlands, England, Bangladesh, Hong Kong, Belgium, Germany and France. But the Mediterranean part of Spain has conquered our hearts. We love nature, animals and tranquility, but also good cooking, food and wine. We live here with our 2 dogs, 3 cats and 11 chickens who provide fresh eggs every day...
Although our dogs are friendly and loving, we recommend that you as a guest are comfortable with dogs as they roam freely on the property and can greet you regularly.
Our house is located between two nearby villages but is located in a fairly private area that is only accessible via a forest road (500 meters). We recommend that our guests have a vehicle. Free parking is available on or right next to the site.
Because we want to provide peace and quiet in a beautiful natural environment, parties or excessive noise that can be disturbing are not allowed. We therefore prefer adult visitors and children aged 12 or older (younger in consultation - swimming pool is not fenced and there are dogs). We would like to point out that we cannot admit more people than indicated when booking (maximum 4). This means that the use of the grounds including the swimming pool is only intended for guests who have booked.
