La Casita – peace, space and Mediterranean enjoyment
Welcome to La Casita, our intimate, detached sea-view guest house on a 25,000 m² private estate. Located just 40 minutes north of Barcelona, we offer a place where peace, simplicity and slow living are key. This is not a hotel and not a resort, but a small-scale boutique retreat where space, silence and personal attention are paramount.
The accommodation
La Casita (45 m² interior) is next to our main house, but completely self-contained and private. Due to the generous layout of the site, you will experience a feeling of freedom and seclusion here, while the beach and Barcelona are still close by. The estate is located in an exclusive residential area next to a golf course and at an altitude of about 250 meters, with beautiful views over the Mediterranean Sea.
Interior
The cozy living room with open kitchen is the heart of La Casita. The kitchen is fully equipped with oven, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, Nespresso machine, kettle, toaster, washing machine and complete cooking and crockery.
The comfortable double bed (160 × 200) ensures a good night's sleep. The bathroom has a spacious walk-in shower, sink, toilet and towel heater. Furthermore, La Casita is equipped with air conditioning, heating and fast fiber optic Wi-Fi, ideal for relaxation and remote working.
Outdoor space
You have a very spacious private outdoor space (about 70+ m²) with a terrace, dining table, comfortable lounge area and Weber charcoal barbecue. In addition, there is an additional shaded lounge area under the trees, perfect for warm afternoons with a book. The terrace offers sea and green views and invites you to long dinners, quiet breakfasts in the sun and evenings under the stars.
The estate
La Casita is part of Abrazzo, our small-scale boutique retreat with only a few independent stays. Small scale is a conscious choice.
Guests are free to roam the property, with the exception of the private area of the main house. From your accommodation you have direct access to the chicken coop, Bali bed, swimming pool, Tiki bar, jeu-de-boules court, hot tub, sauna and vegetable garden. These amenities are shared with us and a very limited number of guests. Thanks to the spacious layout, privacy is always guaranteed.
The pool is usually closed between November and the end of April, depending on the weather. During this period, the wood-fired hot tub and sauna are available for a small fee for wood and bathrobes.
Important information
Animals on site
We live here with our 3 dogs, 3 cats and 11 chickens (in their own run) who provide fresh eggs daily. Our animals roam freely and are friendly and affectionate. It is important that you feel comfortable in a natural environment with animals.
Accessibility
The estate is located between Sant Vicenç de Montalt and Sant Andreu de Llavaneres and is reached via an unpaved forest road of about 500 meters. A car is necessary. Free parking is available on or right next to the site.
Fitness
Due to its hilly nature, the site is less suitable for guests with limited mobility.
La Casita is ideal for couples and solo travelers who appreciate tranquility, simplicity, and nature. Maximum 2 guests.
About us
We, Klaas & Jenny, are a Dutch couple who moved to Spain about ten years ago. Before this, we lived and worked in the Netherlands, England, Bangladesh, Hong Kong, Belgium, Germany and France, among others. Mediterranean life has captured our hearts. We love nature, animals, tranquility, good food and good wine.
We speak Dutch, English, Spanish, French and German.
The area
A few minutes away are three golf courses and within seven minutes you can reach the beach and the port of Port Balís. There is direct access to nature reserves for hiking and mountain biking (e-bikes can also be arranged).
Catalunya has 55 golf courses, several of which are within a 45-minute drive, such as PGA Catalunya Golf & Wellness. The Costa Brava starts at only 35 km.

House rules
To ensure peace and quiet, parties and excessive noise are not allowed.
Maximum of 2 guests per stay.
The grounds and facilities are for booked guests only.
Open fires are not allowed in connection with the protected nature reserve.
For longer stays, we can offer a special price on request.
