La Cabaña – Wooden Villa with Sea View
Welcome to La Cabaña, our wooden villa and the most spacious accommodation within Abrazzo, our small-scale boutique retreat. This attractive wooden forest house between the trees on a private plot of 25,000 m² is located on the Maresme coast, 40 km from Barcelona center. Here you will find peace, nature, views of the Mediterranean Sea and even the skyline of Barcelona in the distance.
Here, it's all about space, tranquility and the art of living the good life. This is not a hotel, not a resort – this is a place where space, silence and natural quality are paramount.
The Villa (120 m²):
Built entirely of wood, La Cabaña exudes warmth, comfort and simplicity. With approximately 120 m², the villa offers generous space and privacy.
Interior:
An open kitchen with island, fully equipped with fridge, freezer, Nespresso coffee machine, kettle, toaster and complete cooking utensils. Washing machine and dryer available.
The living room has a spacious dining table and sitting area with smart TV (Chromecast). Spacious bathroom with modern walk-in shower.
Two bedrooms: master bedroom with double bed (160×200), second bedroom can be flexibly converted into a double bed (160×200) or two single beds (2× 80×200). Fiber optic internet, ideal for remote working.
Outdoor:
Covered terrace with dining table, Weber BBQ and sun loungers. Own private boules court. Plenty of space to relax in sun or shade, surrounded by nature.
For whom:
La Cabaña is particularly suitable for couples and families with independent children (from about 12 years old) who value peace, nature and freedom.
Thanks to the generous outdoor space, the swimming pool and direct access to hiking trails, it is a place where everyone can follow their own rhythm: sharing moments together, while there is plenty of space to retreat to in privacy.

Wellness & The Estate:
Abrazzo is a small private paradise with several wellness areas: swimming pool, hot tub, sauna, Bali bed, Tiki bar, jeu de boules court and vegetable garden. These zones are shared with us and our guests in a quiet atmosphere where everyone can find their own corner.
The swimming pool is closed from November to the end of April. During this period, hot tub and sauna are available for a small fee.
The whole property is fenced. Due to height differences, Abrazzo is less suitable for guests with limited mobility. For heavy luggage, we are happy to help with our Polaris quad.
The Area:
Our site borders the Montnegre i el Corredor Natural Park, a paradise for mountain bikers, e-bikers, road cyclists, hikers and nature lovers.
Within five minutes you can reach the beach, Port Balís marina, restaurants, beach clubs and water sports facilities. The train station is a 5-minute drive away and takes you to Barcelona center in 45 minutes.
Nearby: several golf courses (Golf de Llavaneres), tennis and padel clubs, and the Roman thermal baths of Caldes d'Estrac.
The Costa Brava starts at 35 km with rugged cliffs, hidden coves and turquoise waters. Montserrat with spectacular rock formations and historic monastery is an unforgettable day out.

Practical & Atmosphere:
We are Klaas & Jenny, a Dutch couple who have lived here for more than ten years and have created our dream place at Abrazzo. We share the property with our 3 dogs, 3 cats and 11 chickens (in our own area, fresh eggs). Our dogs and cats roam freely and are friendly. It is important that you feel comfortable in a natural environment with animals.
Abrazzo is quiet and secluded, accessible via a 500-metre forest road. Car essential. Free parking.
We speak Dutch, English, Spanish, French and German.
Important information:
The pool is not fenced. La Cabaña is therefore suitable for families with independent children from about 12 years old who feel comfortable in an open environment and can move independently.
Parties or nuisance do not fit the spirit of Abrazzo. Up to four guests. Open fires are not allowed (protected nature reserve).
