Molino Mairena has two detached holiday homes separated by a cozy spacious courtyard, ideal for 2 families and large group of friends to stay together and yet with the privacy of your own child-friendly casa.

This former grain mill dating back to the 16th century has recently been stylishly  renovated with authentic aspects and equipped with all modern conveniences such as air conditioning in all bedrooms. Molino Mairena is surrounded by nature, surrounded by mountains, olive groves, streams, waterfalls and hiking trails. Located in the Arroyo de Los Molinos valley in historic Montefrio overlooking the Alhama de Granada mountain range.
Montefrio is centrally located between Malaga, Granada and Cordoba, ideal for city trips.

Take a refreshing dip together in the heated private pool and relax in the covered lounge area with sun loungers or relax in the courtyard with large dining tables, umbrellas, BBQ and darts

In the garden is a natural terrace with Jeu de boules court and olive, almond and various fruit trees.

THE MILL COMPLEX:

CASA ANDALUZ: has 3 double bedrooms all with modern en suite bathrooms and air conditioning. All towels and bed linen is provided. A fully equipped kitchen with 4 burner gas stove, dishwasher, washing machine, combi microwave oven-grill, large fridge-dirty combination, kettle and Dolce Gusto coffee machine. In the cozy living room there is a dining table with 6 chairs, dresser, television, a large corner sofa, coffee table, chair and wood stove.

CASA LOS MOLINOS: has 3 double bedrooms, 1 bedroom with bunk beds all with air conditioning. A spacious modern bathroom with large shower, bathroom furniture, towel cabinet and toilet. All towels and bed linen is provided. The fully equipped kitchen has a 4 burner gas stove, fridge-dirty combination, combi microwave oven grill, kettle and Dolce Gusto coffee machine. In the cozy open living room there is a 2 and 3 seater sofa and chair, dining table with 4 chairs, coffee table and wood stove.

The heated private swimming pool is located on the large roof terrace accessible via the stairs from the courtyard, where you can enjoy beautiful views over the valley.

In the evening you can admire a beautiful starry sky.

The area around Molino Mairena is home to rich biodiversity and natural landscapes with winding hiking trails.

Molino Mairena is located 4 km from Montefrio. In Montefrio there are several supermarkets, tapas bars and restaurants. 

We are happy to advise you on the sights, hiking routes and hidden gems in the area. Various parking spaces are available on site.

Montefrio was voted one of the top 10 most beautiful village views in the world by National Geographic in 2015. With its pretty churches, narrow streets, restaurants, tapas bars and the olive museum, it has more than enough to offer to spend a pleasant day there.
