Casa Alberto is a typical Andalusian, more than 100-year-old and in 2023 completely renovated village house with a swimming pool, in the middle of the lively village of Monda. 

For lovers of the real Spain, Monda offers the best of both worlds. An authentic Andalusian village, away from mass tourism and located on the edge of the Sierra de las Nieves protected nature reserve and at the same time within acceptable driving distance of Marbella and the beach (<20min) and the great city of Málaga and the airport (<45min). Seville, Córdoba and Granada can be reached within 2.5 hours.

The house is now of course equipped with all modern conveniences.

Through the double wooden front door you step straight into the cozy living room with open connection to the dining room. For extra light, there is a playful loft. On the ground floor you will also find a bedroom with en-suite bathroom and the kitchen. From the kitchen you enter the intimate patio with a bistro set with four chairs and a parasol and access to the laundry room with washing machine and dryer. Behind it is the backyard, with a terrace of 40m2, a pérgola of 3x2m and a mini swimming pool to cool off. Here you will also find two sunbeds and an outdoor table with 6 chairs. 

On the upper floor you enter two additional bedrooms and the second bathroom via a spacious landing. Through the rear bedroom you can go to the sunny roof terrace (especially nice in the winter months!), equipped with two sunbeds, from where you have a magnificent view of, among other things, "Castillo de Monda". 

Although the indoor climate is stable due to the walls that are sometimes almost a metre thick, all bedrooms as well as the living/dining room are equipped with air conditioning for cooling or heating. In addition, there is a cozy pellet stove in the living room. The kitchen has all modern conveniences such as a built-in oven, dishwasher, espresso machine and an induction hob. 

Entertainment is provided by a flat-screen TV with Chromecast and two Sonos speakers. 

The house is accessible by car, convenient for unloading luggage. Parking is available a little further down the street or in the parking lot 250 m away from the house. 

The typical Andalusian white village of Monda is lively and has several bars. You can also eat well in some of them. If you want to eat at a literally and figuratively higher level, you can do so in the restaurant or the bar/roof garden of the Castillo de Monda. There you will be rewarded with an insanely beautiful view. 

There are several shops in Monda, including a real supermarket, a good butcher, bakery and various grocery stores. On Tuesdays there is the weekly market with lots of fruit and vegetables in the central parking lot. So that day we park the car elsewhere!

Monda is an active village and organizes many events on an annual basis. The main events are the Semana Santa with the impressive Easter processions and the traditional Feria, a celebration for young and old, for 4 days around the 15th of August. Keep in mind that some events, especially the Feria, produce sound in addition to a lot of fun ;)

I would like to introduce you to southern Spanish life and where better than in the middle of a village? Casa Alberto is fully equipped and therefore offers the perfect base for enjoying culture, nature, sun and sea.

Explanation of the prices & cancellation policy

Prices include bed linen, towels and beach towels, but exclude the mandatory final cleaning (€ 80.00). Electricity is charged separately, according to consumption (€0.18/KwH). The average consumption per week is 100-150 kwH (€18.00 - €27.00).

Deposit €350.00 per stay. 

Arrival days are possible on all days, of course after consultation.
Minimum stay high season 7 days, low season 5 days. 

For long stays (hibernate) I am happy to make a tailor-made rental agreement. Please contact me for the possibilities.

Deposit upon booking is 25% of the rent, remainder of the amount (including deposit) must be paid at least 8 weeks before arrival date.

Other conditions:
  • The house is not rented to groups of young people.
  • Smoking inside is not allowed.
  • Pets are only allowed after consultation.
  • Maximum occupancy 5 people.
  • Check out time 11.00 a.m.
